Great place to hang out while we were in Fairbanks

  • 5 of 5

Our family enjoyed our time in Fairbanks.

The Cabin was spacious enough for our family of 5.

The owners were very considerate and helped when needed.

The location was good for our purposes.

We never got the change to use to sauna or the firepit due to daylight all day long.

Thanks for such a great vacation

Rustic cabin with local flavor

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was an older cabin with modern amenities. The place is close to the city of Fairbanks and convenient to get on and off the parkway.

There is a nice mud room and open floor plan downstairs. The only inconvenience is the bathroom is upstairs. Our family enjoyed our stay here!

PS: Don’t forget your mosquito repellant if you sit outdoors!

Lovely host and beautiful property

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was homey and welcoming! Owner's property was beautiful, full of snow where the kids enjoyed sledding. Gus and Gari were very hospitable and kind hosts! They were kind enough to allow the kids and I to ride on their snowmobile. Even let us use their soy sauce when we forgot to buy some from the store! Unfortunately, the weather wasn't cooperating when we were there and was unable to see the Northern Lights. There was a beautiful deck to see the back and sunset can be seen through the deck or living room windows. An FYI to those who have a preference in mattresses, the rooms have firm mattresses. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here and definitely would like to come back in the future. Thank you Gus and Gari for you hospitality.

The details made it amazing

  • 5 of 5

This is a super cozy cabin in a forest setting with a (gas) fireplace and a real wood-burning sauna and a nature path out the back door (just make sure the moose aren't around first). But it's the thoughtful details that make it even more special, from the beer in the fridge, to the free use of bikes and snow shoes, everything was painstakingly thought through to make sure our trip was great. It's one of those VRBO's that you are so happy you picked once you get there.
