About Samantha

We met at Gemology school in San Diego, CA and found that we not only fell in love but shared the same passions for life. We chose to be jewelers by trade but we are designers by passion. We settled down in the Santa Barbara area and began to raise our two boys Ozzy and Cash. Being on an eternal search for the perfect place to live we just had not found it yet. Eric, born and raised in Mississippi and I in Idaho, Eric often spoke of this magical town in Tennessee called Leiper's Fork that he had visited as a teenager. We finally came for vacation July 4th, 2014 and I promptly fell head over heals in love! We were sitting out front of Puckett's drinking Ne-Hi soda watching our boys faces light up with joy as they chased the fireflies. Leiper's Fork chose us in that moment. Without delay we purchased our home on Joseph, now the Tin Roof Cottage, returned to Santa Barbara and moved here 20 days later. We never looked back, we now reside just 1 mile away from the Cottage. We are currently raising our boys in this marvelous community and we welcome you with open hearts. Warmly, Eric, Samantha, Ozzy and Cash

Why Samantha chose Tennessee

After falling in love with this street and it being where we bought our first home in the area, the opportunity arose to gain this home, we could not pass it up. We are grateful to be able to now offer Coda Cottage as a place for you to enjoy your stay in Leipers.

What makes this cottage unique

Coda Cottage provides you with a unique opportunity to become immersed in a Norman Rockwell painting that has come to life. You will love getting lost in this great community but still have easy access to the city of Nashville and downtown Franklin.

Amazing!

This cottage was simply perfect! Comfortable and beautifully furnished in a quiet neighborhood, and a short walk to all the fun in Leiper's Fork. The owner was wonderful to work with, and super responsive. We can't wait to return!

A beautiful slice of Americana!

  • 5 of 5

I love to be inspired and this home has done just that! My husband and I were in Leipers Fork about 5 years ago with some friends we were visiting in Franklin. When they brought us here I knew I wanted to come back. Of course I totally want to live here now. I will go back with fond memories of Pucketts listening to music, the shops with their very friendly owners and taking long drive on Trace and hiking. We will definitely be back and stay longer. The cottage was perfect in every way!

Quiet and cozy! The cottage was perfect for our brief stay in the Franklin area.

Quiet and cozy! The cottage was perfect for our brief stay in the Franklin area. Thank goodness for good AC as we northern folk don't do well in the heat. All amenities were on point and as described online. Thanks for a relaxing time in the country.

Cozy home in a quiet neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I had a wonderful time staying in this comfortable home situated in a very quiet neighborhood. The property owner was thoughtful enough to check in with us to make sure everything was as expected. We would gladly book this property again.

I'm Addicted!

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at the Coda Cottage was nothing short of magical! Everything from the cottage, to the landscape, to the weather (rainy & cold, to warm & sunny), to the town of Leiper's Fork, to Franklin, just EVERYTHING.....was perfect! We left on a Sunday, today is Tuesday & I'm still on Cloud 9 from our stay. I'm actually pretty depressed b/c all I want to do is go back to Coda Cottage and Leiper's Fork. I really did feel magic in the air at our little cottage. We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday and our 19th wedding anniversary & this gave us the rest and the fun we have been looking for. We went out on the town in Franklin, stayed in one night and drank wine, ate pizza and watched movies, built a fire outside and enjoyed the sounds from Fork Fest (which was a whole other form of a MAGIC in itself). The cottage was clean clean clean, beautiful, comfortable, homey, quiet, quaint & the owners were amazing. I was so sad to leave, but we WILL be back every year....THAT'S A PROMISE!

Nice getaway if you want to chill and relax! Close enough to drive into Franklin or Nashville, but far enough out to feel like a true escape. Loved the decor and attention to every detail to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
