Big apartment close to U of M
This apartment is lovely. Big bedroom, comfortable bed, washer and dryer, nice kitchen and large windows. The check in process was a little more arduous than I was expecting. For someone coming from out of country without WiFi, I had to connect to WiFi, then download the app to gain access to keys. There is no one on site to help if you run into difficulties. In the apartment, although other toiletries were there, I had no toilet paper. I emailed several times and no one ever stopped by over the course of my 3 nights to drop some off. There were items left in the dryer and dishes in the dishwasher. Minor, but still left me feeling that the cleaning was rushed. I appreciate the swift response to my emails, but there was no resolution to my problem. I had to hunt down my own toilet paper. Also - caution: there was an owner fee, a cleaning fee and a service fee that cost almost as much as the charge for the room. NOT WORTH IT. I should have looked more closely at the fees before I booked - my fault. But, I still felt like I had been taken. I would not stay here again.

We very much enjoyed having a quiet, warm, comfortable place to return to each night after visiting our grandchildren and driving around on the icy snow covered streets.
The bed was exceptional, the kitchen well stocked. Our main complaints were regarding the unavailability of on site parking. Because of the snow, parking the car was difficult.
Complaint #2 was regarding the thermostat. We like to sleep in a cool environment and went to sleep with the temperature set at 62 degrees, only to awaken in the middle of the night with the heat blasting. We could turn it down, but it would not stay where we set it.
#3 we had internet, but no cable. There was a cable box, but everything had been disconnected. Mildly annoying, but we didn’t go there to watch TV.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay!
Hi Leigh, We wish you would have reached out during your stay to discuss any of these issues. We actually have a smart TV (Roku) and not cable. We could have walked you through how to use it and also would have sent someone right away to look at the thermostat. We are glad you enjoyed the rest of your stay and hope to host you again!
