Channel View is on the 2nd floor of a small, older place with 10 condos, but I must say that the view is one of the best on the island! The condo is all fresh and new and has a relaxed, comfortable feel. It has new walls, flooring, carpet, new kitchen, bath and new bedding. Wireless Internet, house phone and cable TV. I've sailed all over the Chesapeake with my husband and sons and I'm still drawn to the ocean and the bay. Chincoteague is a wonderful, magical island, with wild ponies, lots of wildlife, a healthy ecosystem and fresh local seafood. Bring your boat or your kayak and your fishing rods too! Read a book, enjoy your morning coffee or an evening glass of vino on the balcony ... no rush, just do what you feel like doing ... you're on Island Time!

Panoramic views, magnificent sunrise and sunset sky, watch the annual pony swim from the balcony, enjoy dolphins playing, birds migrating, kayak right off the floating dock, tie up your boat in a nice slip, fish and crab off the dock and stay in an all new, just remodeled condo! Our beach chairs and umbrella are there for you too! Well stocked kitchen, books, games and DVD's. Binoculars for wildlife watching.

Rental Rules Agreement Channel View, 7482 East Side Rd., #21, Chincoteague Island, VA 23336 1. CHECK-IN TIME IS AFTER 3 P.M.,AND CHECK-OUT IS 10 A.M. NO Early Check-in or late Check-out. 2. This is a NON SMOKING unit. NO grilling on the balcony 3. Pets are NOT permitted in rental unit under any conditions. 4. DAMAGE/RESERVATION DEPOSIT- A damage/reservation deposit of $200. is required. This must be received within thirty (30) days of booking the reservation. The deposit automatically converts to a security/damage deposit upon arrival. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within (7) days of departure, provided the following provisions are met. *This Deposit May be Waved for Guests Who Return Annually & Always Leave the Condo in Great Condition a. No damage is done to unit or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear. No items are missing. b. On departure date, all windows and doors are closed and locked, ceiling fans are off. Main Heat/AC system: Off-season: Heat is @ 60 degrees Summer: AC is @ 72 degrees. c. No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay. d. All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in dumpster, and soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher, cleaned and put away and all food items in kitchen and frig are to be removed. *If cleaning staff has to remove trash and food and put dishes away, a charge will be added. e. All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure. f. AC not to be set below 70 degrees. No children to handle controls at any time. g. NO Early check-in or late check-out. ****During the Prime Summer Season, it is important to arrive and depart at the contract time. Late departure will cause a backup in our cleaning schedule and an additional cleaning surcharge. h. The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner), the local law enforcement, the security company employed by Sea Tag Condo Assoc. 5. CANCELLATIONS – Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit. If the condo is rerented, a refund will be given, less a 15% booking fee. * Owner recommends that the renter purchase his/her own Traveler's Insurance to cover the risk of any unforeseen need for cancellation. (Possible source: insuremytrip.com) Such protection is not the responsibility of owner. 7. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY- The maximum number of guests is limited to (4) four persons maximum. THIS PROPERTY REQUIRES A THREE (3) NIGHT MINIMUM STAY... except when negotiated. 9. Longer minimum stays may be required during holiday periods. If a rental is taken for less than three days, the guest will be charged the three-night rate or less. 10. NO DAILY MAID SERVICE 11. RATE CHANGES – Rates subject to change without notice. 12. FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS – Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check-in. 13. WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS – Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance. 14.HURRICANE OR STORM POLICY – No refunds will be given. I agree that all rental monies are non-refundable per cancellation policy

A real home away from home.I
I really liked this rental. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was so clean. I have a habit of walking around in my stocking feet and my sox were still white at the end of the day. We really enjoyed our stay.

The place was as described in VRBO. The inside is a bit dated but was fine for a weekend stay.
This property was exactly as I expected. The views were incredible every morning. The location was great, and the neighborhors were all respectful and friendly on the shared deck outside. I didn't realize the second bedroom was the main entrance to the condo so that threw me off when we first arrived, however the several locks on the door made me feel more comfortable with my son staying in the room. It was a clean and comfortable stay and the location was perfect with food and fun close by. I would recommend to anyone.
Excellent place to stay in Chincoteague Island
This property is located in very quite corner of Chincoteague Island. Its view of the lighthouse and East Channel is excellent.
The place has pretty much everything you need to stay comfortably: dishes, pots, utensils, etc. It also has decent size crab trap so that you can catch a lot of crabs at the dock on the property. If you are an avid fishing person, you don't need to travel to other parts of the island. Just walk out the door and cast your lines on the dock.
Owner provided very detailed information on the property/island itself so that our stay was very comfortable. It was our seventh visit to the island last 32 years. My adult kids have grown out of this island over the years and this was definitely one of the best.
Wonderful Stay at Channel View
We had a terrific time! The condo was clean and furnished beautifully. Lots of extras, beach chairs & umbrella, wonderful info & tips about the island. The sunrises & sunsets were lovely from our porch area. Caught crabs in the crab pot too!
Slice of paradise
My family thoroughly enjoyed our time at Chincoteague. The property was cozy, clean, and well stocked in the kitchen. We enjoy cooking on our vacations. We were able to wake up early, catch a beautiful sunrise and enjoy a cup of coffee overlooking the water right out the backdoor on the balcony. My son, the fisherman, was out on the dock in heaven, fishing and crabbing and trapping minnows. We wanted to stay longer. Bonnie was a great host and provides lots of great information about the island and things to do. We definitely want to return!
Relaxing, casual tiny island that is a favorite for it's wild ponies, birds and wildlife. So much to do .... bike, walk, swim, fish, kayak, boating, light house, museum, etc.
