Newly Reovated 3 Bedroom, 2.5 Bath Townhome On Camelback Mountain

Come stay at our beautifully renovated and comfortable mountain house. When you are here, you will be in the lap of luxury without a care in the world. All of the bedrooms have new, upgraded mattresses and comfortable bedding. We provide 450 thread count sheets, luxury bath towels and additional towels for the pool or waterpark. Both of the full bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner and body wash and a hair dryer as well as a night light for guests to use. Unlike most of our neighbors, our entire house is air conditioned and heated through forced air vents.

The kitchen is outfitted with new stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. It is well stocked with all of the usual kitchen necessities. There is a separate dining area that seats 10, which is convenient as the house sleeps 10 comfortably as well. The house boasts 4 flat screen "smart" televisions, with Hulu, and 2 blue ray DVD players. The living area contains a wet bar with a Keurig and plenty of space for any beverages you may want to bring along. There is a large sectional sofa for taking in the breathtaking view or relaxing by the fire or watching your favorite movie. We provide an assortment of DVDs and games to keep people of all ages entertained. The view from our private balcony is unsurpassed in every season.

The loft bedroom has a queen sized bed, television and full bath. Downstairs there are 2 additional bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed and a television. The other has 2 bunk beds, each with a full size on the bottom and a twin on top to sleep 6 comfortably. Between the 2 bedrooms there is a full bath and a completely separate room with a giant jacuzzi tub. On the bottom level, there is a second living room with a table that is perfect for playing games, comfortable sofa and chair and a flat screenTV.

The house is a twin, so there is only one attached neighbor and plenty of parking right in front. For skiiers, within a 5-10 minute walk, you can be skiing down the slope at Camelback. If you prefer to enter the slope through the lodge, it is a 2 minute drive. The front door has keyless entry so no one needs to worry about "who has the key and where did I put it while I'm having fun?" The community has an indoor pool and hot tub, fitness center, sauna, indoor basketball court and both indoor and outdoor tennis courts. Within a few minute drive are the Crossroads Outlets. The Mt. Airy Casino is about 10 minutes away. There are also multiple lakes and hiking trails with all of the sports and activities that they have to offer.

Great view! Super easy to get to the slopes.

Everything was great. There was a slight issue with the electronic front door but the owner went out of her way to make sure it didn’t hinder our stay in the least. Would definitely use this house again in the future.

Great stay at the condo. Margie was very very helpful and extremely accommodating. We had a great stay. I little issue with the heat but most likely user error. Still 5 stars for communication and flexibility by the owner!

Great Stay for Winter Skiing Reunion

We had two families - 5 kids aged 5 to 11. This was perfect for a 4 night get away. The kids bedroom (two sets of bunks) held all the kids and each pair of adults had their own bedroom. The townhouse was clean and well kept. The family room was plenty big - and the large dining table accommodated the entire group. The beds were all very comfortable and everyone slept well. Skiing is a short 5 minute drive down the mountain. We cooked a couple big dinners in the well-equipped kitchen. We were there on New Years Eve so we did miss the live network TV, but beyond I really can't find anything to complain about. If you're looking for a getaway at Camelback - even for two families - this should be on your list. Owners are responsive and friendly - highly recommend!

Security Deposit Issue

Two other couples and I stayed at this home for a weekend. We very much enjoyed our time there, the distance to the slopes was a really great feature as well. We literally were able to walk 10 minutes and come out on a ski slope. The only issues we had while staying there was that the heat in the bottom two bedrooms did not work properly and always blew at full force, we either had to sleep with the windows open or the heat off. Unfortunately, once we left all the happiness associated with our time there started to dissipate. The owner of the home felt it appropriate to withhold funds from our security deposit for the most laughable of items. It was claimed that we left DVD's out of the cases, Dirty Towels on top of the washing machine, dishes on the kitchen counter and the heat at 70 degrees. When I tried to address this with the owner it fell on deaf ears. I sent her a photo showing the thermostat at the correct setting, I had as well texted her prior to leaving that I was in middle of washing the towels, regarding the dishes I had explained that I had washed them and left them out to dry. That putting away wet dishes, the little that there were, did not feel like an advisable thing to do. I couldn't for the life of me understand how she could charge us so much money for leaving a DVD out of its case or not replacing a blanket to its original bed. All in all, this made our stay very frustrating. I would just advise anyone that is looking to rent this home to make sure it is in the exact condition as it was when you showed up.

Owner's Response: We are so glad to know that this renter found our home pleasant and comfortable. It is our goal that all of our guests have that experience. In keeping with that goal, we had a brand new HVAC system installed in the fall that provides forced air heat and air conditioning throughout the home, a feature that is only offered in very few homes in the Villages at Camelback. We are not sure where the complaint about the heat came from, but we were able to confirm that it was in perfect working order both before and after this renter's visit. If not, we would have done everything on our power to rectify it as soon as possible. We also aim to make staying in our home carefree and comfortable. For this reason, we supply luxury sheets and towels as part of every stay. In all of the time we have rented the house, we have never withheld any portion of a security deposit before for leaving the home in a state of disarray. While this renter chose to minimize the condition in which he left the home in his review, it was so far out of the ordinary that our cleaning crew needed to charge extra in order to clean up after the renter left. That said, we withheld only a small portion of the deposit. It is unfortunate to have a displeased guest, but, as the renter stated himself, staying in our home was a pleasurable experience and his dissatisfaction only came when he was held accountable for the condition in which he left our home.

The Village at Camelback is nestled between Camelback Mountain Resort and Big Pocono State Park.

One of the best things about the Village is the close proximity to Camelback Ski Area and Camelbeach Water Park. .

If skiing or watersports are not of interest, you can hike in Big Pocono State Park which is a short walk from The Village At Camelback. A short drive will take you to The Delaware Water Gap National Park, canoeing, kayaking, horse back riding, and over 25 world class golf courses . If shopping is your interest ,The Crossings Outlet stores are a few miles down the road from The Village At Camelback as are antique shops, movies theaters, playhouses and casinos.

Local restaurants, pubs and burgeoning vineyards can satisfy every culinary palate. There is always something to please every member of your family or group. If you would like to exercise, The Village at Camelback also offers a sports complex facility including an indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, fitness room as well as indoor and outdoor tennis courts.

Damage Deposit AU$637.15

In the event of cancelation, all money will be returned in full if the cancelation is made within 45 days of rental date. Between 15 and 44 days before the date of rental, half of the deposit will be returned. No monies will be returned if the cancelation is made less than 15 days before rental date.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if cancelled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if cancelled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
