910 Square Foot, Beachfront One Bedroom Condo With Gorgeous Views
About Michelle Boudreaux
We have been to Grand Cayman many times, and we spent the first three visits at Seven Mile Beach. On our fourth trip, we stayed at the Retreat at Rum Point, Unit 15, and fell in love with it! We love Cayman Kai and the Rum Point area so much, and we decided to purchase a second unit so that we could bring our family and friends with us to our "paradise"! As with our unit at the Retreat, we are happy to share Kiwi Kai with our guests!

Why Michelle Boudreaux chose North Side
We chose Kiwi Kai because it has it all -- a gorgeous, almost-private beach, beautiful water, a great location near activities and restaurants and Rum Point (while still retaining an off-the-beaten path feeling), and proximity to our other unit at the Retreat.
What makes this Condo unique
For a couple of families traveling together, we also own Unit 15 at the Retreat at Rum Point, another beachfront one-bedroom unit. Cayman Retreat 15 is about a ten minute walk or two minute drive from Kiwi Kai.

Work & Leisure
Attended a medical conference in Georgetown but wanted to be away from the cruiseships. Location was beautiful! A bit of a drive but well worth having a car to explore all the different beaches! Perfect cute condo for my husband & I to enjoy a getaway.
Hubby and I loved being oceanfront and sitting on the lanai with the beautiful palms and sea right there. October is a great time to go- less touristy, probably a bit cooler. Be sure to get travel insurance because it is still hurricane season. We snorkeled right outside the condo! Loved starfish beach! Michelle is a great host- actually posted an 91 pg welcome packet- soooo informative. Be sure to download it as the hard copy at the condo only contains 31 pages. We had 1 problem and it was fixed pronto. The condo was very clean with thick bath and beach towels. The condo was very well equipped, even including laundry detergent. There were 2 swim noodles, a beach mat (no beach chairs) and snorkeling equipment (we brought our own so didn’t check it out)
On the negative.... The condo is in need of a good paint job- there were several places where plaster was peeling. We do realize beachside living does that to homes. Another thing that frustrated us is that the condo was so dark if we couldn’t keep the louvers open because there was no breeze much of the time. (The right door louver toggle switch is broken so those can’t be opened) It is 45 min. Minimum from town so do remember that. We went into town everyday anyway.
Governors beach was awesome- clearest water ever. It is very expensive and the US $ is worth less than Cayman $.
We did enjoy our stay and thank Michelle for all she did to make it comfortable.
Perfect 5 year anniversary ❤️
My husband and I spent our 5 year anniversary on the island and this place was amazing! Although it is about 45 minutes from 7 mile beach, it is 3 minutes from rum point, the crystal caves, and starfish point! Great location! We enjoyed the amazing crystal clear view and were able to grill out and enjoy dinners at home! Will definitely be returning to the island and kiwi kai.
I've stayed at the Sea Lodges in 4 different units for the last 13 years and this property was the first one I stayed at when I began coming to the Cayman's. It's perfect for one or two people who enjoy quiet vs the hustle and bustle of 7 Mile Beach. I came alone on this trip and the peace and quiet is exactly what I needed! It's been two years since my last trip to the Sea Lodges and I was happily surprised to see that the snorkeling is getting better with every trip and that more fish and other sea life are coming to this end of the island and staying. Last comment on this beach is that the iron coastline is coming back nicely and teaming with life. It's an amazing snorkel site and you could stay out the entire day doing just that with ease, just remember to wear a shirt or tank top over your suit if that's what you plan to do, your back will thank you later for not getting sunburned!
With the closeness of Rum Point and plenty of snorkel sites on your way from the airport to the Rum Point area, you do not need to be out on 7 Mile Beach at all. Be sure to check out Smith's Barricade not far from Georgetown on your way up to the area. Additionally, there is great snorkeling with the Tarpon at Morritt's Tortuga club, they have public beach access their too.
There is only one negative comment I can make about the unit is that not all the louvers work but you really don't need to open then anyway unless you want the view. The air conditioning and fans work just fine to keep the unit nice and comfortable and the view is just a few steps to the ocean front door, open it and you've got the most amazing view around!
Thank you for the enjoyable stay again, I will be back!

Fantastic! Quiet, peaceful and so relaxing.
An outstanding vacation. Property had all we needed. Clean, cozy and well kept. Thank you for such a memorable getaway!
