About Charles Cocce

The owners were married in the fall of 2014 in Vermont, where they fell in love with Stowe. They came across this unique condo that has a rustic feeling with modern amenities. Soon enough they were home owners and enjoying everything about this beautiful town.

What makes this apartment unique

The shell of the building was built in 1840's and we love the old hand honed beams that run throughout the living space and into the bedrooms. When sitting in the living room you can watch the snowfall while sitting next to the warm fireplace with a hot cup of cocoa or tea.

A Hidden Gem in Plain Sight!

Our family of four (2 parents & 2 teen girls) thoroughly enjoyed our 8 nights at Stafford Place in August! If you're looking for a perfect summer vacation to enjoy everything that Stowe and Vermont have to offer, then look no further than Stafford Place.

The condo decor is gorgeous and a delight to the eyes and senses. No detail was forgotten by the owners for making guests feel pampered and comfortable. Small details like thick terricloth bath robes in each bathroom, specialty soaps, thick padding underneath the designer carpets to make walking barefoot & in socks soft to the feet, luxurious & comfortable bedding, a super soft blanket throw made in Italy for the living room, a yoga mat & hand weights, a bike locker, a nice selection of herbal teas in the well-appointed kitchen... we could go on & on. It's like staying in a 5 star resort in terms of the caliber of accommodations.

We were expecting the Main Street traffic noise to be an issue but it was barely noticeable & didn't bother us one bit! Not once did we turn on the white noise machines for sleeping. Instead, we enjoyed being part of the village scene and all it has to offer. We were steps away from morning coffee & a pastries, Sunday brunch, a quick deli lunch, or fine dining for dinner. Our two favorite restaurants were Plate, which is in the same building as Stafford Place, and Whip at The Green Mountain Inn, which offers al fresco dining with beautiful views and a superb menu.

Our most favorite part by far of staying at Stafford Place was easy access to the Stowe Recreation Path. We brought our 4 bikes with us from Virginia and stored them in the condo's bike locker on the ground floor. The entrance to recreation path is in the rear of the condo's parking lot. What a beautiful 5-1/2 mile ride! The scenery is absolutely gorgeous with mountain views, water, parks, bridges to traverse, restaurants to stop by for lunch or drinks, and ending at a classic Vermont covered bridge. It's an easy ride and relatively flat most of the way for both adults and children to enjoy. It's ideal for walkers, too, and wheelchair accessible. We were lucky to have gorgeous weather the vast majority of our days during our stay and enjoyed this ride three times. We miss it dearly now that we're home!

Charles the property manager is a gem and handled every detail promptly and with cheer!

We definitely plan to stay again at Stafford Place!

Beautiful condo in the heart of town!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful condo in Stowe. There is truly no better description than "mountain chic" for the space. It was extremely well appointed, with great amenities. The beds were so comfortable I never wanted to get up, a great fireplace, plush towels and robes, and amply space for four people. Two in our party in did not want to brave the freezing temperature on the slopes, and there was plenty to do within walking distance to fill up their days, including an amazing breakfast at Butler's Pantry across the street, the many shops along Main St, and Tap 25 for some great beer flights. Overall, would absolutely recommend staying here and can't wait to come back!

Great place/Great location

We stayed at this property for an extended weekend in February. Booking was very easy as was contacting the property manager with any questions or concerns. The apartment is very nice. It's well-decorated, spacious, and well-equipped. The location on Main Street in Stowe was perfect. We parked our car when we arrived and never used it again until we left. We made use of the mountain shuttle which conveniently stopped right next to the apartment building.

It snowed overnight two of the nights of our stay which was perfect for the skiing. However, there was some road noise early in the mornings when the plows went by clearing the snow. There was a white noise machine in the rooms but we did not make use of it.

Other than the bit of noise from Main Street, the place was pretty much perfect for us. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in or around Stowe.

Beautifully appointed Apartment

Wonderful apartment that is decorated beautifully. Location is ideal right on Main Street with immediate access to the Recreation Path. Charles was a delight to work with, he answered all questions and made sure everything was perfect. Will definitely be back!

Great experience in the center of Stowe

Main Street location has many pros - close to a lot of restaurants and entertainment and quick ride to the mountain. Only con is the noise from the plows and trucks. Well appointed and comfortable. Well stocked with supplies.
