A few important things I wish to emphasize while you consider renting our cabin, this is our home which we choose to share with responsible people. We are NOT managed by a corporation, we do not own multiple properties for rent. For those who know the Fallen Leaf area, you know it is QUITE, as it was intended to be, PLEASE RESPECT THE PEACE AND QUITE MY NEIGHBORS KNOW, LOVE AND DESEVRE. If you cannot show that respect you will be ASKED to LEAVE IMMEDIATELY, NEVER to RETURN. Thank you for understanding. This disclaimer is intended for .001% of the people who have rented or intend to rent our cabin. Please don't let it be YOU.

WILD FIRES: Obviously we have no control of occurrences of wild fire. I STRONGLY RECCOMMEND BUYING INSURANCE TO REIMBURSE YOUR LOSSES IF YOU CANCEL YOUR VACATION, OUTSIDE OF OUR CANCELLATION POLICY, it's cheap.

A wood burning stove is the primary source for heating the cabin and making S'mores, unlimited firewood is provided. NO OUTDOOR OPEN PIT FIRES ARE ALLOWED(don't even think about it), you will refunded and removed.

This small cabin has a peek-a-boo WATER VIEW, 1 bedroom, 1 bath, a queen bed in the bedroom sleeps two, plus two large sofas will sleep kids or two adults. Walk 400 yards to the private Lakeview Corporation dock for swimming, fishing, kayak or stand up paddle board. Many trailheads within a very short distance, i.e. Desolation Wilderness, Angora, Emerald Bay, Mt Tallac. There is an electric oven/stove, a small refrigerator, microwave. This is a true heaven on earth. The beauty is incredible.

Nice Tahoe Getaway
This cabin was perfect for our Lake Tahoe weekend. We took advantage of the wood stove during our stay! Fallen Leaf Lake is beautiful and another thing worth doing while visiting Tahoe.

Great little gem
The property was just as describe in the listing. We had an issue while there and the owner came up and handled it the best we could have expected. He responded quickly when I contacted him initially as well. My girls loved the kayaks and swimming in fallen leaf lake. It was great to have a place away from the crowds to enjoy. We are looking forward to going back and trying out some of the water toys we didn’t get to. We arrived at night and were able to find the place in the dark as it was marked well. There are also a number of hikes very close to the cabin that are not too popular and beautiful. My kids stayed on the couches and said they were comfortable. If you have a clear night make a point of heading down to the dock to look at the stars, gorgeous! There are so many fewer lights here than even in town, so it is spectacular.

Crowded
Access to the lake is a hike and down a steep bank to a small dock - no beach. Owner was camped in front yard. On site were his camper and two trucks. The front deck is unstable and few windows open for heat relief on the inside. The TV is CD only and there is minimal kitchen equipment. We left after the first night of a five night stay. Owner refused refund of any kind.
