Well communicated in a calm area. Great terrace. Safe and Centric.

This lovely and cozy apartment has been recently renovated (2012) and styled for the comfort of any guest coming to Barcelona. Its open plan kitchen is equipped with anything you might need to enjoy a comfortable stay and cook your own meals with fresh food from the local market. The kitchen opens up to a cheerful living room, ideal for chilling out and relaxing after a long day of shopping or sightseeing. The living room gives access to a beautiful terrace with table and chairs: the perfect spot to sunbath in the warm Spanish sun, enjoy a glass of red wine or taste an “al fresco” meal.

The apartment is equipped with one double room and a smaller room with bunk beds. The living room offers a comfortable sofa bed for the comfort of any additional guest.

The apartment is located on the 4th floor of a building with elevator. It enjoys a very quiet location, close to Camp de l’Arpa metro station: from there you can easily reach the hustle and bustle of the Diagonal shopping area in just 4 stops. Bars and restaurants, as well as grocery shops, are available nearby.

How to get there: There is a lot of shops and boutiques and it is more real Barcelona rather than touristic point.

The apartment is very close to Sant Pau Hospital, probably the most beautiful modernist complex in Barcelona and the most magnificent buildings by the modernist architect Lluís Doménech i Montaner

Parties I: You are expected to respect the house rules that pertain to the apartment and the community it belongs to. The apartment may not be used as a party space

Please don’t throw cigarette butts down into the street, patios or the neighbours´ balconies. Smoking is not allowed in the apartment.

Please respect our neighbours. They are normal working people who need to get up early and go to work every day so please respect the noise levels in the stairwells as well as in the apartments. Parties are not allowed Parties are not allowed and the same applies to loud music.

The client signing the check in form will be liable for the correct and decent behavior of all the persons accompanying him/her. Should that person, or any of the persons accompanying him/her not behave in a suitable and responsible way, the owner shall be entitled to request the client and the persons accompanying him/her to leave the apartment without the right for the latter to claim any type of compensation.

Parties II: Please observe that owner’s Terms and Conditions with regard to disturbances, loud music and parties are very clear: ALL ARE STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. Guests should know that if parties or loud music are heard, or neighbors complain and/or police are called, it can result in immediate eviction regardless of the time of day or night. This will also result in loss of prepaid rent and refundable damage deposit. Also note that by booking the apartment you have already accepted our terms and conditions and will therefore be expected to abide by these rules. You will also be expected to sign these rules upon check-in on your arrival day.

We appreciate your collaboration in this matter and hope you understand that these rules are necessary as these apartments are all situated in residential buildings and the nightly rest of other inhabitants must be respected.

Our main objective is for the client to have a good experience in Barcelona .

What I really like is the feeling of being in a classic building with private terrace. Recently we have installed a lift and now we have the comfort of avoiding stars. There is also plenty of small groceries neraby...come and discover it!

Perfect

We have had excellent time in Barcelona, the owner was very helpful and the location was just perfect, very calm and close to the city center. Second room is a bit small but we just stayed there at night. The best: the sunny terrace to make romantic dinners with a glass of spanish wine and some musisc...Perfect!

Sunflower place

We are fully satisfied. The place met the expectations. Just some hundred meters from metro station, center 20 minutes to go etc. Only thing we did not understand were the regulation of the warm water for bathtub shower. The system was too sensitive to manage. It was very hard to regulate the right temperature, but the previous experience from soviet times gas boilers helped us to find the better balance. I´m sure this could be easily improved or instructions added in sake of our fault. Thank You and best regards to all of You!

Die Beschreibung stimmt nicht

Wir waren im App. von25.12.2011-5.01.2012.Die lage ist sehr gut,ruhig und sisher mit guten einkaufsmmöglichkeiten.Metro Camp de l`Arpa ist ganz nah.Die Wohnung ist sehr klein ca.39m2 mit Schlafzimmer von 8m2,hier Doppelbett mit bequeme Matratze, und 4m2,hier mit Stockbetten.Die Kuche-Wohnzimmer hat keinen platz wo die 4-5 Leute sich hinsetzen können.Auch für uns zwei war sehr eng.Es gibt keinen Offen wie angegeben.Zum kochen gibt nur.3 kleine Töpfe,3 kleine Pfane...DVD funkzionirt nich,.ein Stul auf der Terrasse war kapput,für Safe keinen Schlüssel,im Badezimmer gibt kein Bidet,die Waschmaschine ist in einer dreckigen Schuppen auf der Dachterrasse...Alls wir ankammen hat die Heizung nicht funkzioniert und es war bitter kalt.Morgennachmitag hatten wir warm,Danke Cristina!,eine Flaschesekt und Praleqiine auf dem Tisch alls Endschuldigung..Wir waren von der Wohnung enttäuscht weil die Größe und Ausrüstung nicht die Warheit entspriecht.

We stayed here for a wonderful Barcelona week and liked the appartment very much. There is all you need for a pleasant stay. I can recommend it! And most of all, a pleasant host!

The Eixample is indeed an extension to the city that benefits greatly from its ingenious urban planning at the hands of Catalan engineer Cerdes in the 1850s. Cerdes had a fondness for straight lines and the whole area is set out in a grid with each block having an inner courtyard. This means that it is hard to get lost in Eixample, and moreover, easy to find places.

Nowadays Eixample is famous for being home to the majority of Barcelona’s art nouveau masterpieces, and a high-class residential and shopping area.

Here you will find La Pedrera and Casa Batllo, two of Gaudi´s characteristically dreamlike buildings.

Eixample is a safe and residential part of the city but there is also a vibrant nightlife and a thriving café culture. Eixample is a beautiful barrio to wander round, take in the glorious architecture and people-watch from one of the many terrace cafes.

Transport is good. However the area is very central and most other parts of the city are within walking distance.
