I had been vacationing in Telluride for more than 20 years before I decided to buy a vacation home. What struck me about this property were the views from every room, the beautiful, high-end finishes and the floor plan. Because I love to entertain and host my family and friends, I wanted an open living area. However, when I need privacy, the large master bedroom suite provides everything I need, including my own fireplace and deck to watch the sunset.

Beautiful condo with great location

This was our second year staying at Susan's condo and it's one of the best vacation properties we've ever stayed at. Everything is well appointed and taken care of, quality is nothing but top notch. Every room has jaw-dropping views, and the central living room will have you constantly staring out the window! The kitchen is out of this world, you'll never want to go out to eat when you can cook in one that lovely.

The location in Mountain Village is wonderful, hop right out the door, drop by the ski locker room (with everything you could need, including boot/glove drying racks) and you're just across from a ski track that takes you to the lifts. I'll save a report of how amazing the skiing in Telluride is for another time (spoiler: some of the best in the US and free from crowds!). Getting around without a car is really easy, just call dial-a-ride and they arrive within 5 minutes (often less), taking you right to the grocery store, the base of Mountain Village, or the gondolas.

Hopefully you get snow as great as we did on your trip!

We have been skiing for over 30 years. This was our first time to Telluride. We will no longer visit new places to ski! Telluride is the only place for us to ski going forward!! Everything was perfect. Susan's condo was over the top! The decor, furnishings, linens, and well-stocked kitchen are just a few things I will mention as to what made her condo, the best place to stay. I have never felt so spoiled! The dial-a-ride service seemed more like our personal chauffeur! we never waited more than 5 minutes for them to arrive. Did i mention no waiting in the lift lines? Again, another reason for this being our best trip ever. We have never rented a condo that we didn't have to make our first stop the grocery store. Susan provided all of the basics! More than I have ever experienced. The fresh coffee beans every morning definitely was a major plus. The restaurants were incredible! Susan did an excellent job of sharing her "favorites" with us!! Waking up to the incredible views from each room, of the mountain, was more than you can imagine. I can usually find at least small things wrong with anything!!! The only adjective i can use to describe this condo is "perfect." Thank you Susan for your help and hospitality. We will be hearing from us again!!!

Truly a 6 Star property!!

I must begin my review by saying that Susan has been one of the best owners we have ever dealt with through VRBO/Home Away. We had several things that we needed to work out with her and she was kind, responsive, and went out of her way over our Christmas holiday to make it one of the best experiences. This Cassidy Ridge condo is amazing! Spacious, luxurious, and full of great extras that just add to your enjoyment. The owner has stocked the house with everything you might need to make your visit more comfortable. And I have to comment on how spotlessly clean the condo was upon arrival --you would never know it was a rental! You will never be short on views in this fabulous condo -- every room has a different view of the surrounding mountain range and it is so very beautiful. The grocery store and local restaurants are very close and Dial-A-Ride made it easy to get anywhere in Mountain Village. You will not go wrong with this Cassidy Ridge condo! Thank you Susan for a great holiday and your kindness towards our family! We will be back!

Beautiful Home!! Rude Owner!! NOT very welcome with KIDS!!!!

Wow!! I hardly ever write reviews, but this one did it! Susan has a beautiful home, she has everything you would need in a home, just don't use it. I have no complaints on the home, but am truly disgusted with HomeAway and the clients it attracts. After having such a wonderful time in Telluride, I got a distasteful email yesterday from Susan saying, despite the way we left her home, she is returning our deposit. I was so confused, I clearly asked her what needed to be done before we left, she said - just the trash and the dishes. We have three kids- 9,7,1 . . . her Housekeeper complained that we left things out in the kitchen, yes, sorry we left the sugar and oil out, she complained we left fingerprints, yes, we have 3 kids, sorry, I didn't know I rented a museum, she complained we left the iron out, yes, we left at 5am, I ironed my shirt, and didn't want to put it back hot, so sorry, she complained we used the bath towels as bath mats, i piled them all on the floor the day we left, with the intention to make it easy on the lazy housekeeper, that i now know whe has, she complained we left some sticky substance on the wall, that - I can't come to any terms with, I honestly don't know where it came from, she sent me a picture of it from her second renters, so why didn't her housekeeper just wipe it off with a damp towel. Really?? I'm bothered by the fact that the owner makes/made every intention to make one feel at home, as that's what HomeAway is, but I guess they were bothered by the fact that WE DO COOK, and WE DO Have 3 young kids. She even went as far as to call us "slobs." How sad.

So just for the reference and guidance if you have kids that leave fingerprints, I don't think you'd be very welcome. Oh, and let's not forget to mention the dog hair everywhere, as soon as we got there, my kids' clothes, covered in dog hair. I mentioned that to her, and her only reply was, no one else seemed to be bothered, so she's fully aware of the fact that her one million dollar condo is full of dog hair, just doesn't care.

Telluride is beautiful, always is, and the condo is just as nice, I'm just so sorry to say, the aftermath of such a negative person leaves a bad taste!!

Owner's Response: This is the second ski season that I have rented out my home and it has been, with the exception of Linda V, a very pleasant experience. I have tried my best to anticipate my guests' needs. And my housekeeper is very thorough and hardworking. I don't think past reviews would be so kind if my housekeeper wasn't such a hardworker. I was very distressed by the condition of my home upon Linda V's departure but initially said nothing and returned her full deposit. However, when the stains splashed on the bedroom wall and ceiling were discovered, I made it clear that I didn't appreciate the way she had treated my home and that I would not want to rent it to her again. As much as Linda V's housecleaning tips are appreciated, the stains did not wipe away and the room had to be repainted. I believe Linda V's review is largely retaliatory. In addition, she has mischaracterized correspendence regarding dog hair, which she offered up as proof that my housekeeper was lazy (although in her correspondence she used foul, inflammatory terms). What I told Linda V was that none of my guests before or after her stay have ever complained of dog hair anywhere much less everywhere. I did not say "bothered" which has a completely different connotation. And it is certainly not fair to say I don't care. The day after Linda V's arrival I emailed her to confirm they had arrived safely. She replied, "Yes , thank you Susan. We love the house! It's absolutely beautiful." I have many guests with children and some with very young children. If young children were not welcome, I wouldn't have purchased a high chair, a pac-n-play, children's books and games for the condo. The lack of consideration and care on the part of Linda V has been unique in my experience to date. Families will always be welcome in my home. I don't judge all families by the behavior of Linda V.

First class everything

Everything about our stay was great. When the owner says fully stocked kitchen, she means fully stocked kitchen: we were able to fix an entire thanksgiving day feast without having to scramble to find a knife or foil or extra spatula etc. the beds were comfy, the views were fantastic, and the appointments within the condo were spot on. We'll stay here next time we're in Telluride. No question.

Great Condo in a great location

Susan,

We loved staying in your condo at Cassidy Ridge. The unit has a great layout, high ceilings and very nice furnishings. It suited our family of 5 perfectly. Everything is brand new and very nice. Also, the parking under the building is super convenient, and the views from the living room and the master bedroom can't be beat. Cassidy Ridge is a 2 minute drive to parking behind the grocery store and gondola to Mountain Village and a 5 minute drive to Mountain Village.

We would definitely stay in condo again when we return to Telluride. The location, amenities and value can't be beat.
