Three bedroom home situated right in the heart of Hat Head only a stones throw away to the beach and creek. This property boasts an open plan living, dining and kitchen area and is equipped with modern appliances. This property has a covered outdoor area with a BBQ. There is a fully equipped laundry and the spacious yard is fenced off and has plenty of room to park a boat. If you are after a cosy beach holiday this property is perfect for you.

A South West Rocks accommodation holiday offers a true escape from the hustle and bustle of modern day living, Hat Head is a small coastal town on the mid north coast situated midway between South West Rocks and Crescent Head. By car approximately 5 hours from Sydney or Brisbane and 1 and a quarter hours from Coffs Harbour or Port Macquarie. Hat Head offers a beautiful white sandy beach with tidal creek inlet, fantastic coastal walks through the National park to other secluded beaches, a Bowling Club with greens and restaurant, in a quiet seaside village. Nearby at South West Rocks is Arakoon State Recreation Area with the historic Trial Bay Gaol.

Linen is not supplied in this holiday letting you will need to bring your own (sheets, pillowcases, towels, tea towels & tablecloths). You will also need to provide your own toilet paper, soap & dishwashing liquid etc. If you do not wish to bring linen you will receive the contact details for the linen hire firms in your confirmation email.

Assessment/ Evaluation of Property

Beach cottage was in a great location. It was a beach shack- kitchen adequate, bathroom and laundry adequate with good washing machine and Dryer.Barbecue was an old wood fire bar which we could not use due to the hotplate being rusted. The Queen size bed in main bedroom was very old and not hygienic for the frequent booking the house gets. Back room sunroom windows had no screens and were very hard to open. The curtains in the sunroom were very old and when I pulled the curtain across to close - a white powder from the lining of curtain stained my T shirt and lower arm. The main living room had a very old lounge with loose springs ( very uncomfortable) and there were throw over rugs on them to conceal how stained and sticky the furniture was. I actually sent an email to Raine and Horne South West Rocks ( Accommodation email address) requesting the Owners be advised about my constructive evaluation, in order for the deficiencies of the accommodation to be actioned in order for “ reasonable and necessary repairs”; for paying guests to be provided with more appropriate facilities. Bundi awesome!

This place was fabulous! Small and older but connected with the relaxed feeling of the area. Loved not having WIFI or payTV (although the kids may think differently). I loved it and would definitely come back again. Thank you.

Great location but

This property has great potential- it is close to the beach in the delightful hamlet of Hat Head. Unfortunately we had some issues- some of the windows had massive spider webs, one of the drawers in the kitchen was broken, the outdoor seating was dirty and the garbage bin had not been emptied for quite a while - maggots were visible in one of the plastic bags.
