Graceland is a very popular property for me. The three bedrooms are large with queen sized beds. The two full sized bathrooms are meticulously cleaned after each guest. In the kitchen are all the tools and gadgets you will need to prepare home cooked meals. There are two separate living rooms, an eat in kitchen and a dining room. There is a separate laundry room with full sized machines for your use. There is even a separate beverage refrigerator. The back patio has a furniture set and a gas grill. The garage has a remote. This is a quiet neighborhood, literally one block away from all the fun of Nob Hill. Walk home after a night on the town!!!

My work has been working with local artists making unique jewelry items that I have marketed all over the USA. I'm sure I have passed by very close to your home in my 35 years on the road. I know what I want from a high end traveling experience and that is what you are receiving from Graceland. I have no tolerance for smoking or pet hair. My vacation rental is detail cleaned after each stay. No dust bunnies here.

Why Douglas chose Nob Hill

I purchased Graceland from the 99 year old man that built it in 1955. He was on top of maintenance and gave me a beautifully preserved home. The location is perfect. The street is not even a block long. So it is peaceful and traffic free. Walk to the fun places on Route 66. Don't worry about driving after a night out because you will be able to walk home. The back yard has locked gates. So you can have the children playing on the lawn without worry. Get the real experience of living in Albuquerque by staying at the best, centrally located home.

What makes this house unique

Graceland has the original 1950's plush grass yard that you won't find anywhere in Nob Hill. The owner is an avid gardener and keeps the yard lush and green.

Perfect home away from home

We recently stayed here for 2 weeks while my daughter attended a dance intensive at the University of New Mexico and it was the perfect home away from home.

Doug had some of the necessities we needed already stocked such as seasonings in the kitchen and toiletries in the bath. Being in the house made our 2 week trip more affordable because we were able to go to the grocery store and cook food daily. The neighborhood was quiet and neighbors were nice. A hail and rain storm left the yard in a mess one evening and Doug had landscapers there by the evening to clean it all up.

It was 6 minutes from the university, 12 minutes from the mall and movies, and 5 minutes from the Super Walmart, which we visited several times.

If we come back to this intensive next year we will definitely check the availability of this house.

Excellent location, helpful owner, clean & so peaceful!

We stayed here during the time my son was graduating from UNM. The location is convenient to the campus, and Doug was very helpful in accommodating our various travel schedules. The house is big, well stocked, and very clean. We had a wonderful time seeing the sights in both Albuquerque and Santa Fe and loved having such a perfect place to relax at the end of our busy days. Thank you Doug!

Comfortable and clean with everything we needed!

We loved our stay in this home! The home was clean and well decorated, spacious and comfortable. We appreciated the fact that Doug had provided all the amenities we needed—dish soap, paper towels, garbage bags, toilet paper, tissues, so we didn’t have to purchase all that for a weekend stay.

The home is located in a quiet neighborhood, yet it is close to plenty of shops and restaurants. It has a nice yard, front and back. We would be happy to stay here again if traveling to Albuquerque!

the house is clean and is well stocked. We had a great stay. Doug was also nice enough to meet us before check in time. The house is very very clean which is what we expect when booking home away or Airbnb.

Great Area

This was the perfect location for our group of 3 couples. We could walk to restaurants...around the neighborhoods...grocery stores were very convenient...cooked a lot of our meals and enjoyed sitting out in the back yard. Stayed for the Balloon Fiesta and the commute wasn't bad at all. The house looks just like the pics. There were a few issues, which were taken care of in a timely manner, that's why i didn't do 4 stars. If not for that would definitely give 5 stars. Balloon Fiesta was FANTASTIC. Also did a lot of hiking, farmers market, etc. Great trip!

Owner's Response: It's a large home, very well maintained. Things do happen. I take care if issues immediately. It's hours. Not days. To demote me is petty. Oh well. Read the previous 50 reviews please, lol
