We are so excited to offer this penthouse apartment in our historically restored and fully renovated building complete with off street parking space, private elevator, large piazza and gourmet kitchen. Master bedroom on 3rd floor contains queen bed and large master bath. Antique staircase leads to 4th floor bedroom containing 1 full bed, 2 twin beds and a full bath. Large sectional sofa, 9 seat kitchen island, 2 flat screens and additional full hall bath are just a few of the amenities. Easy walk to all the best Charleston has to offer. The perfect venue for a short or long term stay or for hosting small meetings or elegant dinner parties. Our nightly rate is based on 4 but we can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests. I also have the charleston single home next door containing two, 2 bedroom 1 bath apartments in the home next door and a small classic cottage at Folly beach . Why Steven Niketas chose Historic Old City

The restoration of this building was a labor of love that took almost 5 years to complete. Our Greek restaurant, Stella's, occupies the main floor and is open for Sunday brunch and lunch and dinner daily. The second floor is a banquet space that seats up to 60 guests for all types of parties.

What makes this condo unique

Our building offers an opportunity to stay in what has already become a historic landmark in the upper king corridor. We are one block from the vibrant King St shopping district and 2 blocks from visitor's center.

Amazing property with great owner

My wife and I stayed in this amazing property for four nights and had a ball. Steven greeted us on arrival helped with baggage and gave us a complete tour and overview of the area. Great guy who made sure everything was perfect. The penthouse was spotless, well furnished and had a marvelous kitchen. Great location....walked to virtually everything we did within the King and Market street areas. The Greek resturante on the first floor was fabulous with unique atmosphere. It was great to be able to drop in for a quick bit or drink only a few steps from our room. I can't say enough about this property. We've stayed in many high end facilities but this one is tops on the list...... exceeding our expectations in virtually everything. Will be returning next year.

Fantastic property, location and first floor restaurant

Stayed four nights, great experience, walking distance to most anything and cheap Uber to anywhere on the peninsula. Awesome kitchen, beds and air conditioning system (critical in Charleston!). Owner very accommodating, and the restaurant staff very friendly and personable. We had a couple of dogs - not much in the way of doggy relief space outside the property, but easy one block walk to a grassy area next to a church and its graveyard (both churches and graveyards are a “thing” in Charleston). Don’t miss the Greek restaurant on the ground floor, very highly rated and deservedly so - we did takeout for lunch during our stay ... why mess up the killer kitchen? Strongly recommend. Not sure why or if we’ll be back in Charleston again, but would stay here again and dang sure would eat at Stella’s again.

Beautiful apartment, perfect location

My husband and parents and I stayed in Steve’s beautiful apartment in April. It’s well appointed with everything you need, and Steve could not be nicer or more helpful or responsive. The location is amazing - walking distance to King Street shops and restaurants and even to Broad Street (about a mile) and the historic area south of Broad. Love this place and will be back for sure!!

Piazza envey

Steven, Thanks for being there when we needed you and not when we didn't. We picked your place for the location, the piazza, and the kitchen. We enjoyed all, maybe not enough time for the piazza. Lovely place. For the comfort and enjoyment of future guests two points to consider, the large water heater noise and heat plus strong odors in the elevator. Thanks Jim

Owner's Response: Hey James... thanks for the heads-up on the elevator smell... we had a dry drain at the base of the elevator shaft that was causing the problem but all fixed now... and the hot water heater located on the 4th floor in the mechanical space has not been a problem to date, but we have replaced the compartment door with a heavier, insulated door and that has taken care of the issue... thanks so much again for staying with us and for the info!!
