About Tye & Erika

Tye and Erika split time between Seattle and Ashford. Tye is the Ops. Manager for locally based International Mountain Guides and Erika is a Photo Producer in Seattle. Together they travel quite extensively having visited 6 of the 7 continents. They have a German Shepard named McKenzie who is a little long in the tooth these days but she still gets around alright.

Tye & Erika purchased this cabin in 2015

Why Tye & Erika chose Paradise Estates

We bought this property to give us a base camp in Ashford. We love to hike and wanted to place closer to the mountain. This cabin also gives Tye a place to crash when he's at work in Ashford. Hopefully others can enjoy our cabin when we're not out there having fun on our own.

Cozy as can be!

  • 5 of 5

Thanks for all the hospitality of our stay. We are in awe of how this garage was converted into a comfy cabin. Looking forward to coming back again soon. ;)

Very comfortable, cozy and relaxing

  • 5 of 5

Great getaway spot. Very secluded feeling. We loved visiting the mountain and coming back to the cabin for some hot chocolate and a fire.

Second stay in the "garage" just awesome

  • 5 of 5

This place is clean, quiet, and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our week long stay. They replaced the refrigerator since or last stay. Tye and Erika care for this property. After a day of hiking at Mount Rainier we would sit out back with our favorite beverage and watch the dragonflies swim over the pond. We saw deer as well. We will stay there again for our next visit.

Perfect cabin

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I could not have enjoyed our stay more. The cabin was beautiful: clean, cozy, with all of the necessary amenities. We particularly enjoyed the tea selection and the books! Very convenient location close to the park. We liked eating at Copper Creek Inn - the pie is a must! We hope to be able to come back one day.

The Perfect Cozy Cabin

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay here! This place is in a great location right next to the park and it had everything we needed to unwind after hiking all day, including a nice kitchen, a comfy sofa, and Netflix on the big screen! So happy to have found this place - thanks Tye and Erika!

It truly is 5 star

  • 5 of 5

I have to say when I see so many 5 stars the sceptic comes out in me. This did not disappoint in any way except we were only there for two nights. A perfect respite after hiking through a glorious park. Clean, pretty and comfortable. Also, thanks for all of your recommendations that were left - they were spot on!
