It sleeps up to 3 persons and has a large queen size bedroom plus a single bed in siting area. It has a large ensuite with spa and small fully contained kitchen. From the front verandah you are surrounded by trees, lake and farmland views all with abundant birdlife. You can choose to relax or explore the local heritage towns, wildflowers in season, adventure activities and walking trails.

Buckland escape

Lovely hosts, great communication. Welcomed on arrival to this stunning property. Lovely cottage and we enjoyed a bbq on our verandah each night. We were visited by horses and snd emu over the fence. The cottage itself cosy and comfy. Location close to Northam very convenient. Just go its lovely.

City escape.

Amazing location and everything you need provided.Dog friendly but there is animals on sight that your fur babies might get to. Take care with that.

Charming and historic

Such a pretty cottage and property! It was a bit like stepping back in time for a short while. The Dempsey was ready on arrival and we met the caretaker. It was quite comfortable but the charm and aesthetics made up for a few small inconveniences. It was a lovely place to relax, take photos and enjoy the countryside. We loved our stay and hope to return one day.
