The First Tracks Chalet - Saddle Ridge F5 is named for its excellent ski-in/ski-out - from the door - access to Big Sky/Moonlight Basin. Only 2 buildings from the Moonlight Lodge and directly adjacent to the Powder River ski run, you can start each day at first chair on the Iron Horse lift or enjoy the breathtaking sunrises with your unlimited mountain, valley, ski slope views from all rooms. This luxury chalet has it all, including a brand new outdoor hot tub!

This 3 bedroom/3.5 bathroom end unit Saddle Ridge chalet has 3 levels, providing the perfect amount of space for everyone. Whether you are traveling with family or friends or looking for a romantic getaway, each room of this Saddle Ridge offers flat screen TV's, luxury bedding, and a private bathroom. The master suite is located on the lower level with a queen bed, private bath, unbeatable views, and direct access to the brand new private outdoor hot tub. Bedroom suite 2 is also located on the lower level with a queen bed, private bath, and spectacular views. Bedroom suite 3, on the upper level, has 2 sets of log bunk beds and a private bath.

The main level with rustic hardwood floors and surround sound consists of the large open living room which boasts amazing views in all directions, a separate dining area, and large open kitchen with granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and eat-in area for 3. Walk-out on either of the 2 decks to enjoy sunrises and sunsets, watch the skiers ski by, grill out on the gas grill, or enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening - on those warm days. You will feel like you are at a winter beach - relaxing and yet exciting to have the snow at your feet.

The laundry room, with full size washer/dryer, is located on the lower level hallway.

There is parking for 2 cars directly in front of the front door, along with private ski racks on the front porch. It is so easy to unload bags and groceries or hop in the car for a quick outing or delicious dinner. You could always walk over to the very popular Moonlight Lodge for a cocktail or a wonderful dinner at the restaurant.

MOONLIGHT CLUB MEMBERSHIP - This home is owned by a Moonlight Club member and offers access to the private Moonlight Club Member Only amenities, including the Moonlight Lodge. Access is completely optional and only applies if you choose to pay the fee and access the Club during your stay.

Amenities Access Fee: $100 per day for a family for the duration of your stay (arrival and departure day fees are waived)

Luxury view from a mountain top in Montana

We spent a week in F5 the end of June, 2018. The unit was as nice as advertised, very clean and well maintained. The view from the deck was spectacular with the moon seemingly close enough to touch. The hot tub was a big hit after exploring all there is to do around Moonlight Basin and Big Sky. Our family of 6 was very comfortable in the accommodations and appreciated the well equipped kitchen and washer/dryer. The beds were very comfortable. While we had done our main shopping in Bozeman we found the local grocery to be well stocked for those items we had forgotten. Favorites for our family were the two trips to Yellowstone and the Zip Line excursion across the Gallatin River. We are looking forward to trying the hiking trails in the summer and the ski slopes in the winter when the children are a bit older. Randy and Louise Thomas

Awesome rental especially if you are doing things in the Big Sky area. If you are using this as a "base camp" for Yellowstone please be aware that the "50 minutes from Yellowstone" while technically accurate is slightly misleading. With minimal traffic driving slightly above the speed limit you are easily 1:15 from the Yellowstone entrance. the 50 Min refers to the sliver of Yellowstone that you pass through while driving to the main entrance. It is still absolutely worth staying here as a base camp, just plan on a little extra travel time. The communication from the property manager was top notch throughout the rental process and we had no issues with the unit. We had 3 adults and 3 kids ranging from 6 - 10 and this place was perfect for everyone. The local trails were full of wildlife and the kids had a blast ending each day in the association pool. A+

Incredible rental at Big Sky

I highly recommend this Saddle Ridge condo for a vacation stay at Big Sky. The condo is very well appointed, and has everything you need for your stay. The attention to details is very apparent. We rented the condo as four adults and four young kids, and it was the perfect situation... walking distance to the lifts and very convenient. The mgmt even went above and beyond with some niceties. There was a bottle of wine, chocolate and coffee waiting for us upon arrival. Management was responsive to questions and very accessible if needed. We've stayed at a lot of places in Big Sky. We will absolutely be staying at this condo again. We have found our go to rental!
