Beautiful Creekside Cabin Nestled In The Mountains Of Pigeon Forge, Tn

Bedrooms 2
Space 2,120 sq ft
Property type cabin
Minimum Stay 3 nights

About the property

Creekside Cabin, 2 Bedrooms Plus Loft With Pool Table And Hot Tub, Sleeps 8-10

Welcome to our cabin "Creekside Dreams". Our cabin is conveniently located less than one mile from the parkway and directly between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg with no hills or dirt roads to navigate which is perfect for anyone including motorcyclist. The parking area is paved and very flat with plenty of room to bring your motorcycle trailer or camper.

After a day of shopping, amusement parks, hiking, horseback riding, dining or just out riding through the beautiful smokey mountains it is so nice to come back to the cabin and relax in the rocking chairs on the back porch overlooking the creek. There is nothing like the sound of the creek and the peaceful atmosphere. There is also a large hot tub on the upper deck perfect for unwinding after a long day.

Our cabin has a king master bedroom on the main level with a nice walk in shower and TV so you can just lay in bed and relax. On the main level is the living room with a queen size leather sleeper sofa, matching chair, fireplace and dining table that overlooks the creek.

The upper floor is a full loft that has a queen bunk bed, full bunk bed and a full bath with jacuzzi tub and separate shower.

The loft also features a game area with a pool table, table for board games or cards and a TV for watching your favorite football game or race. There is a hot tub outside on the upper deck to relax in after a long day.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything needed to prepare a full meal and there is a charcoal grill outside for grilling steaks, hamburgers or hot dogs. The dining room has a table that will seat six.

Dollywood, Splash Country and Dixie Stampede are all less than 3 miles from the cabin, Ripley's Aquarium, and Ober Gatlinburg are within a 10 minutes drive. Knoxville is a 35 minute drive.

Restaurants that I recommend are The Chop House, Alamo Steakhouse, The Peddler, Momma's Farmhouse, Calhoun's, The Apple Barn, The Old Mill and The Pancake Pantry in Gatlinburg to name a few.

We are always upgrading our cabin to make your stay more enjoyable.

Thanks for giving us a chance to be part of your smoky mountain vacation with family and friends.

God bless,

Rob Watson

About Rob Watson

I am originally from Knoxville, Tn. My parents moved my sister and I to Georgia when I was just five years old, but we have always called Tennessee our home! Ever since I was able to drive by myself I would make several trips a year to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. There is NOTHING like the Great Smokey Mountains! I have two beautiful kids that I and my family have made tons of great memories here and they will continue with their children as well. I have always believed in spending quality time with my family. That is something that you can not put a price on and you can NEVER get it back!

Rob Watson purchased this cabin in 2001

Why Rob Watson chose Pigeon Forge

This property is in a great location. It is just a few minutes from Pigeon Forge and only 10-15 minutes from Gatlinburg and the Great Smokey Mountains. There are lots of great things to do such as shop, hike, horseback riding, white water rafting, restaurants, and tons of attractions. And if you do not want to do any of that, the cabin is far enough off the road that you can just set on the back porch and relax... read a book or just set and listen to the creek! You literally get the best of both worlds here!!

What makes this cabin unique

Tons of things to do or just set and relax!

Highly recommend this cabin.

  • 4 of 5

The cabin was absolutely beautiful. At first we were disappointed about the no internet, but by day 2 of our stay we found it to be a blessing. We spent more time interacting with eachother and it was nice to see my kids playing with card games provided at the cabin rather than sitting around with tablets or phones. Each room had a TV and there were DVD movies also available to choose from. The kitchen had everything we needed from coffee maker to blender. We spent Thanksgiving at the cabin and I love to bake for my family and found it very convenient to have seen the cabin had baking utensils, such as mixer and cake pans. If there was anything we needed we would take a short 10 min drive to gas station and walmart was 18 mins. We went sight seeing and to a couple of attractions. Not enough time to see how much Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg have to offer for us to see in just a few days. My family and I have decided we would love to return next year, only need to find a bigger cabin to invite the rest of our older kids. Thank you to the owner for your hard work and effort in making the cabin feel so comfortable and kid friendly. I will be recommending this cabin for sure. It was a great experience overall and can't wait for next year!!

Cabin wasn’t the problem, but the surroundings.

  • 3 of 5

PROS: This property is awesome with a beautiful setting along the creek. Owner was exceptional to work with.

CONS: These are out of the owners power but it is still part of the surroundings and the overall stay. There are several larger (20 guest) cabins next to this one. Within rock throwing distance close. Night 1, phenomenal. Night 2, neighbors moved in. Sucked. Drunk wild college kids that woke us all up, including our 7 mo old at 3 AM. They also got one of their vehicles stuck that night about 30 ft from our bedroom window. Next morning we got to listen to the Volkswagen with loud pipes rip and rare trying to get his car out of the bog. Now that this had calmed down we went outside, only to be hammered with the terrible smell of sewage. Could have been caused by the stuck car. Also there were 2 kids sitting on the roof of the back porch smoking a Blount. End of night(mare) 2. Night 3: sucked worse. We were actually sleeping great bc of the rain keeping the drunks at bay but when the rain stopped, the party started. We were woken up abruptly by what I first thought were gun shots so I came out of the bed with the 40 cal only to figure out the drunks were setting off artillery shells between our cabin and theirs. Maybe 120 ft at most between the two cabins. It was lighting up the inside of our bedroom like daylight. After a bottle of water and 2 aspirin, I was calm enough to go to sleep. Needless to say we were glad to leave.

Our Happy Place

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was excellent. First time we stayed in this area and will definitely go back! The convenience to Pigeon Forge and surrounding areas was perfect!! We have given out your cards to our friends and told them they would not be disappointed at all. The only thing I would say is if it had a gas or real fireplace it would have been even better! The fire pit on the porch with the stream was very relaxing!!!

Clean and quiet

  • 4 of 5

Our stay was great. The property was very clean and well kept, with comfortable beds and plenty of room for our family. The hot tub was a hit with the kids and the location was very convenient for us to bounce back and forth from Gaitlinburg to Pigeon Forge.

The property is not on top of a mountain which makes it easy to get to but does not provide the great views of some other cabins.

The only surprise was the kitchen didn't have any residual items from other renters such as spices, aluminum foil or cling wrap. We have rented lots of places with VRBO and usually show up with not needing to buy EVERYTHING. It was not a big deal because the grocery store is very close... just a surprise.

Very happy.

  • 5 of 5

Just as described, suited us well. We would definitely not hesitate to rent this unit again. NO internet, but we knew that when we rented. Neighbors are fairly close, like at a lot of the cabins you can rent, but were not a problem at all. Lots of parking room. The deck with the big fire pit is nice to have, and there was firewood for sale right across the road. The hot tub is on 2nd story balcony and that improves privacy.

The owner was quick to respond to our application and we had no issues with the process or the cabin.
