About this property

Perfectly located on Lake George. This Charming 3 bedroom 2 bath home sits on the waters edge, You can enjoy the wrap around screened porch that allows you to sit and have your coffee, look out across the lake and see the most breath taking sunrises! Birds singing, fish jumping and eagles flying.
Home is fully furnished with lots of amenities: Full size washer and dryer, Towels, Bedding, Gas grill, Dining room table and chairs. Kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, Glass wear, Cookware, Crock pot, Microwave, Blender, and much more.
Master bedroom has a queen size bed and bathroom. The bathroom has a large tub and shower combo, flat screen T.V. and DVD player. Second and third bedrooms also have queen size beds. Second bath has a walk-in shower. Living area has a flat screen T.V., wood burning fireplace, sofa, love seat, and a recliner.
The house sits on the water front and also has canal running next to the house.
There is a walk way the length of the property that is on canal side to fish from. there is a boat ramp on the property to use, depending on the water level and the size boat you have. Or you can launch your boat at the community boat ramp just one street over.
There is also a firepit down by the water.
Enjoy the ease of soaking up some sun, or fishing from the private dock!

Peaceful Lake George Waterfront

Excellent property and a great location. This was our second stay at this property and it has always been great. Has a boat launch and boat slips on Lake George. Well-stocked kitchen and plenty of room in the house. Super comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake. The host has always been great. Will return soon!

Boating the silver spring

Very comfortable house, we sat in enclosed porch for coffee every morning. was extra nice having boat launch on property. We had a small boat so was perfect. Very quiet neighborhood. Hoping to vacation here again. Alligator's galore!!

Lake George

Exceptional property, right on the water. Neighborhood so quiet, peaceful. Relaxed, caught some fish! The owner could not have been more gracious. Plenty of room for more family members to join.

Idyllic Setting

We spent a month here and hated to leave. The house was just as it was advertised with a great view of the lake. The dockage was sheltered and equipped with power and water hoses and would accommodate multiple boats. The local people responsible for maintenance quickly corrected any issues we had. The neighborhood is quiet and the people very friendly. We will definitely return!

Relaxation at its best

Property is way better than described, we loved our stay. We brought our boat and the boat launch worked great for us, but we chose not to leave the boat at the dock due to the lake being choppy some days but there is a great covered carport we parked it under so we didn’t have to fiddle with the cover. We were able to visit the spring to the south with our boat and see the manatees (at least 50 of them) swimming in the canal. We caught a couple catfish in the canal that runs the side of the property and a largemouth bass off the back dock. Every calm day you could see the mullet fish jumping and there is a ton of birds that frequent the docks, even a bald eagle. Neighborhood is quiet and we enjoyed taking the dog for walks around the loop and everyone we ran into was friendly. We did make a trip to Ormond beach one day and Sea World which were not all that far. The scenery of the Ocala National forest was beautiful. The house was super clean, plenty of bedding and towels, and I was impressed there was a nice vacuum to use. Heat and AC worked well, and loved there were blinds to close up so we could sleep in, we are on vacation after all. We had not been on a FL trip since Covid and totally needed this stay to relax and recharge. Thanks for sharing your special place with us!

Lenard and Betty Sue Powell both grew up very close to the Salt Springs and Lake George area. They met in 2012 and fell head over heels for one another. They both loved to fish and being on the water.
They got married May 2015 in front of the big oak tree on this property. They had planned one day to retire here on Lake George, but life being what it is, Betty Sue passed away in February 2021 after a putting up a fight with Cancer. Her love for life and Lake George is still reflected in this beautiful place.

Why they chose this property

This property has so much to offer! From fishing to playing on the water. Lots of fresh water springs that empty right into the St Johns River. Or you could boat north on the St. Johns River to Jacksonville or south to Sanford. Fish fresh or salt water! Endless water options.....

What makes this property unique

Not having to load your your boat on a trailer after a long day on the water is priceless!
Plenty of parking for you trailers and vehicles....
We have 4 boat slips that are protected by a sea wall for your convenience . Clean your catch at the Fish Cleaning Stations and the list goes on.........
