On a private road, you'll enjoy this true refuge from the everyday. A private beach is nearby and it's just a short walk to North Hero State Park.

Situated above a garage, this home boasts brand new furnishings and great amenities.

Comfortable seating dominates the living room. Admire the sunny environs or vaulted ceiling from of the sofas, one of which is a sleeper.

The kitchen is intimate but has everything you'd need to make a feast. Whip up a meal on the four-burner gas stove and store your provisions in the stainless steel fridge. There's even a dishwasher for easy cleanup.

Dine at the four-seat table or read a book in the rocking chair in the dining room. The deck with its powered awning affords views of the woods and beyond.

There's one bedroom and one full bath here. The bedroom has a queen bed and high ceilings and the full bath includes a private washer and dryer.

A TV allows one catch up on their favorite show via Netflix streaming and there's also a Blu-Ray player. Enjoy the free WiFi and central AC as well.

Nature is king in North Hero. You can go fishing or hiking in the area. And there are plenty of spots to enjoy cross country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. It truly is a year-round wonderland. And if you're up for some excitement across the border, Montreal is just 100 miles north.

Unwind in lakeside splendor at this Lake Champlain home.

About Vacasa, VT - Lake Champlain Islands Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Great, Quiet Escape

  • 5 of 5

The North End Nook is a cute, quiet, calm little spot. The home is well-appointed (dishwasher, washer/dryer, TV, grill) and very clean. Across the street, next door to the owner's home, is a small visitor's beach and seasonal pier. There are chairs to sit and relax with a lake-front view. The home is also a quick drive to the national park, where you can run/walk the trails, fish, camp and picnic. Also a short drive into North Hero, where some of the inns have restaurants that you can take advantage of if you don't want to cook all of your own meals.

There were not many "left behind" kitchen staples (spices, oils, etc.), so definitely shop/pack accordingly for all of your basic needs. There were full sets of pots, pans, knifes, utensils, plates, etc.

Nice place

  • 3 of 5

This is a beautiful little one bedroom loft ( funky low / angled ceilings in some spots) but it does NOT sit on the water or have a hot tub as it says. It sits across the road from a "guest beach" and the home of the owner that has a small area for sitting and a fire. The home is very clean and offers high quality furnishings and everything you need except food. The location is quiet and private.

Owner's Response: We apologize for any confusion regarding a hot tub as there is not one advertised for the home.
