About Marcie Cornish

The Cornish Family resides in Denver, Colorado and loves playing in the Rocky Mountains. Because our kids are grown, we can't all be together all the time, so we've decided to rent our our home. This is the first mountain home we have owned as a family, but have enjoyed renting in the past. We have some of our best family memories in mountain cabins.

Marcie Cornish purchased this cabin in 2015

Felt like home away from home

  • 5 of 5

Great place, we had 8 adults and 4 kids ranging from 2-12 and everyone enjoyed it! Loved the island in the kitchen, as that is where people tend to migrate. Views of mountains were beautiful on backside of home and lots of places to explore walking and a short distance drive into town. House was bright and roomy, and great for larger groups and/or families!

A beautiful place to get away from it all

We came up with another family and there was plenty of room for all of us and our kids. The scenery is AMAZING and we all enjoyed the snowshoeing and sledding. So many great family memories were made here!

Beautiful cabin

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed three lovely nights in this Columbine Lake cabin. It was perfect for our mini- friends reunion. It comfortably accommodated three families - all the grownups had a private room, and the kids enjoyed bunking up together in the basement. The cabin is well located, just around the corner from Columbine Lake and a short drive to town and Rocky Mountain National Park. Thank you to the Cornish's for a lovely weekend.

Stunning home and a great place for a large family!

  • 5 of 5

This house was absolutely stunning! The kitchen, living room, bedrooms and bathrooms were all large and very accomadating for our family of 8 adults and 3 kids. My favorite part was reading by the fire with a cup of coffee on the brisk mornings! Last bit not least...we had a moose and her baby right outside by the front deck one morning!! We had an amazing experience and would love to go back!

Idyllically located in the Columbine Lake community just two short miles from the west entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park and one mile from the historic town of Grand Lake.

Grand Lake consistently ranks in the top 10 for snowmobile destinations in the United States and has earned the title of the "Snowmobile Capital of Colorado."™ This is in large part due to their 300 miles of trails and numerous play areas available for all abilities. The town is so smitten with snowmobiles that you can even ride down the streets of Grand Lake legally.

Per Columbine Lake Homeowners Association: “CLCC does not permit renters to use Columbine Lake (for fishing, boating, paddle boarding, kayaking & swimming), the Clubhouse (for swimming, exercising, TV, or games), or the Gazebo. Keep in mind when booking, that this property is located in a quiet neighborhood with owner residents. Plan on using one of the three local lakes (Grand, Granby and Shadow Mountain) for all your lake activities.”
