What a gem! The level of detail in the treehouse is amazing. Father/son (6 yrs old) trip before school started. The location with trails and creeks felt like camping, but the tree house provided everything we could have needed (including warm shower, bathroom, kitchen, comfy bed, books and games and AC). Friendly dogs and pen of goats were a hit. Have already recommended to friends.
Quite the Experience
We celebrated my husband's birthday here. Brought our dog on his first vacation. I think this would be a great place for younger folks than us. We brought burgers to cook on the grill to find two mice occupying the grill and hoped the starving cat would get them. Cleaned the grill sufficiently because it was too far to drive somewhere for dinner. The bed is very comfortable but if you are the first in bed and the person downstairs is going in and out you may think there is a small earthquake, the bed actually shakes when an outside door is opened and closed. We didn't find any real trails to follow. There no key to the door. We couldn't get the television to work and had no wifi to call the owner. In the end, we will never forget this one. For you young ones, its perfect for getting the kids away from the electronics. p.s. the radio works but never got the fan in the downstairs on.
Fun tree house!
We loved our stay in the Captains Quarters! Thanks for a unique place to stay for our family.
Other than the unexpected wasp bite, l had a wonderful stay.
Other than the unexpected wasp bite as l got ready to enjoy the outdoor shower, l had a wonderful time in this thoughtful and charming tree house...highly recommend the experience, especially for the view of the fireflies dance at night...just be sure to scan the outdoor amenities in advance (or try not too close the shower door), especially if you're allergic to bee stings...luckily, l found out that I was not.
Sorry about the wasp sting!, I did take care of the problem once I was alerted to the issue! And will keep a sharp eye out in the future! Thanks! Bob
Beautiful. Whimsical. A getaway close to home. We will be back!!!
Highly recommend this unique treehouse stay!!
We had a great stay here with our 2 little boys(5&6). They especially loved the 2 friendly dogs on the property that spent an evening with us around our campfire. The boys also loved the pirate theme and hiking around the property. I personally enjoyed the AC and all the cozy details that were put into this place. Truly unique stay, it was worth the drive!!
