Great Family Getaway

This property has a great open space with lots of private quarters. We used it as a family getaway for a 30th anniversary celebration and had an amazing stay. The kitchen was fully equipped with anything we could have needed. We loved the ping pong table and shuffle board and the living area was a great space for family charades! One small and random bonus that we loved was the ice maker! The home was so close to Walmart, a liquor store, a church, and the Springs. I highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful Home - Great Vacation!

This was one of the best homes we have rented in the past 30 years. The size was unbelievable. The best word is huge because we had so much room. The decor was excellent, the kitchen is a chef’s dream, and it was very clean. The two sets of washers/dryers was a big plus with 3 families. Everyone enjoyed the ping pong table and shuffle board. Very convenient to the grocery store and even Walmart. We loved the 2nd story wrap around porch. The family spent many evenings watching the wildlife. There was a deer and her two fawns that stayed close throughout the stay. Our biggest highlight was watching a bear run between the houses. He did not seem fazed that we were all taking videos from the porch. It did make us rethink leaving just the screen locked on the bottom floor at night, we decided to shut sliding door at night. Take a ride toward Wolf Creek Pass. Google the Lobo Scenic Overlook and drive to the top to the continental divide. The scenery is beautiful. Some of our best photos. Also, take a jacket, it was quite cool. Our family enjoyed the horseback riding in mountains at Majestic Outfitters, which was awesome. We rented ATVs at Outback ATV rentals, and they were a blast. We also rode the train to Silverton. Durango is an hour’s drive but it was worth it. The owner, Chris, responded as quickly as possible to all questions. Our check-in and check-out was smooth. I highly recommend this home and will rent again if we return. Our family highly recommends this rental.

House was overall amazing, very clean and we'll taken care of.

The house was in a very quite and scenic neighborhood. Close to town. My only complaint was no access to the lake directly behind the house. Public access was avialable a short distance from the house. Besides that everything was exactly like it was advertised. Overall a positive experience and would recommend it to others.

Perfect Place To Get Away

Beautiful home, we loved our stay! The place was clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of room, very comfortable, enjoyed every minute we were there. Our time ended too soon. We looked out the window to see deer enjoying the shade under the pine trees. Besides scrapbooking, we also went kayaking, and fishing on several of the lakes. Went to the springs for a relaxing evening. The home was also a great location for grocery store, restaurants, gas. The views from the decks were beautiful. Cannot say enough about our stay. We had a great time. Thank you for sharing your home.

Super nice vacation home

Very clean, spacious, with all the amenities necessary for a memorable vacation.

Plenty of entertainment and play area.

Fishing is close (walking distance), we caught trout and cooked it for dinner :-).

Hiking trails nearby, and camping sites for a day trip with the kids and grandkids.

Everything you want in the kitchen, even supplies you would not expect. Well stuffed garage with camping and fishing gear and everything you want.

Grocery shopping nearby, restaurants, pizza place etc...

The place exceeded our expectations!!! :-)
