About Dorothy Ann Snowball

I grew up in Los Angeles and moved to Idaho in the late 70's. Attended John Burroughs Junior High, Fairfax High, University of Colorado and graduated with a degree in accounting from Woodbury University in Los Angeles. Started my career with Touche, Ross (now Deloitte) and I am still a practicing CPA. My four children and five grandchildren all live here in Boise.

Dorothy Ann Snowball purchased this bungalow in 2015

Why Dorothy Ann Snowball chose Boise

I have lived in my current home for 24+ years and have owned numerous rental properties for the same number of years. With the trend in "little houses" I thought it might be fun to make use of my backyard and build a little rental property. Traveling around the world I have often stayed in B&B's and enjoyed the atmosphere so very different from a hotel. In addition when we remodeled my residence several years ago I found it very difficult to find a short term rental and feel there is a market for this type of rental.

What makes this bungalow unique

My reason to locate to Boise's East End is that it has wider streets but is a quiet neighborhood close to everything that I enjoy and all the neighbors are friendly.

This home sets the standard for a VRBO in Boise

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cute coach house in the east end of Boise. The property and its owner are top of the line. First rate all the way. The house was designed and built specifically to be a VRBO, and all the details of such are taken into account. Not only is the place super cute, and clean beyond reproach, but you won't have to wonder if there is a bottle opener, an extra towel, or how the remote works. It's all there, nicely presented, exactly were it should be, right down to the "things to do in Boise" from the most recent edition of the Sunday paper. You're a 15 minute walk to the heart of downtown Boise from here. And of course, you get to meet Dorothy, who is not only a knowledgeable and gracious host, but a wonderful lady. I would stay here again without hesitation and hope you will too!

Great hidden gem!

  • 5 of 5

I was in Boise for the Mountain Rescue Association conference. I chose not to stay at the conference hotel and i'm glad I found Dorthy's place. Dorthy is incredibly friendly and even printed out some maps to local hikes and events for me. The place is well appointed and more than met my expectations. I will alwasy stay here while in Boise and I plan to be back soon. Peace.

Absolutely fabulous place to stay in Boise!

  • 5 of 5

The property was even lovelier than the pictures. Very quiet, clean and comfortable. We didn't get a chance to use the bikes, but that was such a nice addition. Dorothy even has bike locks and brand new helmets. Can't wait to stay again.
