Amazing Remodel On 3.3 Acre With 360 Degree Views, Guest House & Pool

You won't believe how special this home and guest house are. Completely remodeled in 2015 and first time being offer as a vacation rental. The property has two full kitchens, two master suites with king size beds with quality bedding, plus an additional guest bedroom that has two twin beds. There are beds for 6 and we allow up to 8 individuals to occupy the property. Heated pool and Jacuzzi, outdoor dining on screened-in porch with amazing view and multiple porches to enjoy. Built in BBQ. RV Barn, plus two car garage. Pets welcomed with a secured fenced area for dogs and also fenced for horses. Borders the Coronado National Forest and the Coronado Ridge Hiking Trail that taps into the Arizona Trail. Amazing Off Road Trails including the Charlou Gap Trail. Just Google any of these trails and you will realize what an amazing outdoor area this property is located in. At the base of the Catalina Mountain, located in the town of Oracle, we are 20 minutes northeast of Tucson and Oro Valley. Away from the city but close enough to take advantage of all of the activities that Tucson offers.

Gregg and Helen Vinson are local ranchers and business owners. They have lived in the community of Oracle, AZ for 30 years and believe that the town is an undiscovered piece of heaven. The home is located near their residence and may someday be their permanent residence, but for now they are excited to share this unique home with others and let travelers discover for themselves what make this location so ideal.

They realized very quickly that having a unique property with quality furnishing and décor, in a special location is very appealing to Travelers using the sites. So in 2012 when this property came available in Oracle, their home town for 30 years, they felt it had the potential to make another amazing vacation rental. Over the last 3 years the two of them have diligently worked to create another destination vacation rental. They have added square footage to the existing structure and upgraded everything about the home. You won't be disappointed with your choice in this home.

What a wonderful stay in a beautiful home in a quaint quiet town with beautiful surroundings. Our stay was so wonderful that we will visit Oracle again with the hopes of staying in this lovely home again.

Privacy and good hiking north of Tucson

We shared The Pool House with friends; it is perfect for two couples or families giving each some privacy in separate accommodations. Oracle is at an altitude of 5500 feet and is colder than Tucson as well as about 30 miles north of it. Shopping for food has to be done in Catalina, Oro Valley or further south; there is virtually no shopping in Oracle. However, the hiking in Oracle is very good: The Arizona Trail goes right through and the Oracle State Park offers good hikes.

The Pool House has recently been sold and as a consequence there were no hiking maps, local guides, books or games etc, around. It took us a while to figure out how to use the i-pad to turn on the spa. In fact, I am not sure that the pad is not a placebo and the spa might have come on at some pre-scheduled time had I not used it. There is no radio in the house and the volume control on the computer (thoughtfully left for guests) did not work so we could not use it for internet audio.

Overall, we enjoyed staying at The Pool House where we could enjoy lots of sunshine in March and good hiking in the area.

Beautiful house in Oracle!

The house decor is charming and inviting - everything we needed including a well outfitted kitchen. We enjoyed the pool, outside deck with grille and fire pit, and the beautiful yard which provided a great place to drink coffee while watching the sun rise. It was a little further from Tucson than I anticipated, but then again I’m from Texas and accustomed to 75mph speed limits... not 50mph 😊?. We loved hiking the Oracle Ridge trail which starts right down the road on Cody Loop. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Pool House.

Lovely secluded home with mountain view and pool

This is a lovely property which is exactly as the pictures show. It is well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen, linens, games and direct TV. We especially enjoyed the privacy, views and pool. The local restaurants and pubs were a treat. Everyone is so friendly. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful Retreat!

This is one of the nicest properties we have every stayed at. Secluded, yet close enough to the area attractions. Helen and her caretaker were warm and very responsive. The property would be perfect for families or people liking some privacy due to the two buildings (connected by the pool area). Beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable. Beautiful views wth two patio areas to watch the sunrise from. The pool and spa were welcome relaxation after spending the day hiking. If you go, dining at the Patio Cafe is a must (breakfast and lunch only). Their ‘take and bake’ pizzas were excellent and convenient dinners a few times! You won’t be disappointed with this property !!
