About the Townhouse
This is a beautiful and comfortable end unit townhouse that sleeps 8 in beds, and also has an additional fold out couch for one or two extra people. All 3 Bedrooms have their own private bath. One master bedroom is on the main floor for easy access and comfort. Each of the two masters has a new, extremely comfortable Simmons Plush Top Queen bed, and the master bathroom upstairs has a Jacuzzi tub and a Sauna. The lower level bedroom sleeps 4 in twins (2 single and one twin bunk). The main floor has a wonderfully working fireplace, and also has sliding glass doors that open up to a wrap around deck with a gas grille. The kitchen is updated and fully equipped. Downstairs, a comfortable family room has a 48 inch flat screen TV, a Franklin stove, a wet bar, and a ping pong table. Towels and linens are provided. There is a washer and dryer. Guests are invited to access Quechee Lakes clubhouse amenities with daily fees.

The townhouse is in a wonderful location. In the Spring, Summer and Autumn, you have direct access to award winning golf courses, Lake Pineo, hiking, fishing, and tennis courts. There is a condo association pool and tennis courts just a few minutes’ walk from your door. You are also less than 2 miles to the Quechee club with its large pool, tennis, golf, and all the clubhouse amenities. Horsebacking riding is nearby.
The area is surrounded by many beautiful hiking trails. The Long Trail, a 272-mile trail from Massachusetts to Canada, is spectacular with both easy and challenging Green Mountain hiking. The Appalachian Trail crosses through Quechee between White River Junction as it crosses into Woodstock. Mount Tom, along the banks of the beautiful Ottauquechee River, has trails with lovely views on top. Whole families can easily hike the beautiful Quechee Gorge, which offers stunning views for easy hiking.
Families can also enjoy the nearby Marsh Billings Farm in Woodstock, or the nearby Riverview farm in Plainfield New Hampshire for their Corn Maze, berry picking, apple picking, and hayrides.
The adventurous fisher will find stunning rivers for wading and fishing, including fly fishing. Nearby outfits offer tubing and water expeditions.
In winter, you can snow shoe and cross country ski right on the beautiful grounds. Downhill skiing is available on the Quechee ski hill, and Woodstock’s Suicide Six is only 5 miles away. Killington is about 30 miles west on US route 4. Snowmobiling with the VAST (Vermont Association of Snow Travelers) association or guided tours are all around.
The quaint and pretty town of Woodstock is within 7 miles. Dartmouth is 14 miles in Hanover, and Hanover also has fun restaurants, movies, and shops. The famous Simon Pearce restaurant and glass blowing boutique is 0.6 miles from the condo.
