The Over the Rainbow cabin is the perfect place for any type of getaway. From the Guy's fishing trip to Girl's Getaway, Birthday Celebrations, Honeymoon or Anniversary Celebrations, Family time, or solitude - Whatever type of trip you are planning we are a great location. The cabin sits just steps from the Little Red River with a private fishing dock. The fabulous Over the Rainbow Cabin has an A-frame style open loft floor plan. The queen bed is in the center with a couch and seating area including a flat screen tv. The kitchen is fully functional with a refrigerator, oven/range, microwave, cooking utensils, silverware, and coffee station. There is a cozy sleeping loft just up a ladder with a full bed that is great for kids that are safe on stairs(the latter is steep). It is furnished with all new pillows, sheets and blanket and quilt. The loft affords a bird's eye view of the cabin as well as the river with the floor to ceiling windows, that have blackout curtains if you prefer to sleep in. There is a large covered deck overlooking the river, suspended over the bank. The bathroom is a wonderful retreat in itself with a large soaking tub and walk-in shower. Enjoy the firepit (wood provided) to keep warm on cool evenings in a relaxing RIVER VIEW setting. Charcoal grill and extra deck furniture make the covered side porch and deck area perfect for grilling in any weather. There are many things to do in and around Heber Springs. Trout Fishing, the National Trout Hatchery, numerous hiking trails, waterfalls, Greer's Ferry Lake (40,000 acre lake that feeds the river by the cabin), antique and boutique shopping, natural living caverns, Ozark Folk center, just to name a few. There are so many beautiful places to explore, the possibilities are endless.The cabin sleeps 4 and we are pet friendly.
