Dreamcatcher Cottage is nestled on the edge of the Withlacoochee River & Forest. Completely furnished with everything! Even a toothbrush....just in case.
JUST BRING ENOUGH FOOD FOR YOUR GETAWAY!
Whether your stay is 2 days or 2 months
the bedding is changed down to the mattress and pillow covers. Pillows are sanitzed high heat full cycle. Your comfort and well being is our priority.
Now for the fun stuff.

There are 3 canoes, 2 kayaks, a pedal boat that seats 4 and 4 bikes for your enjoyment.
Some fishing poles, too.
The grill is clean and ready to fire up.
Fresh condiments in the fridge. Coffee, tea, sweeteners, packets of oatmeal, paper plates, napkins, popcorn, and marshmallows for roasting. Lots of wood for the firepit.
OF COURSE, DUE TO THE THE CURRENT CRISIS, YOU WILL WANT TO ISOLATE YOURSELVES HERE ON THE RIVER. THEREFORE, SOME OF THE FACTS LISTED BELOW ARE NOT RELEVANT OR APPLICABLE.
A fun place for getaways. It has been a romantic escape for many couples. It has served as a retreat for nature lovers, artists & photographers, Mom & Daughter get togethers, Girlfriend Getaways and, a winter refuge for our Snowbirds. Come snuggle by the cozy fireplace.
Let us know if you have a special occasion and would like it to be a surprise. We will be happy to put up some banners. Free of charge, of course!!
DVDs, videos and games in the fun room.
Family Friendly local restaurant within walking distance if desired. Entertainment on Friday & Sunday.
Rails to Trails is right up the road within walking distance. It is a 47 mile paved, shady until around noon, trail for walking, jogging, biking, roller blading.
Dave, is a Trail Master. He can direct you to hiking the local Florida Trail.
Horseback riding also available close by.
I-75 is a few minutes away and will take you to numerous activities & adventures.

Beautifully appointed cottage

A lovely, quiet place in a rural setting with access to great bike trails and river for kayaking. Bikes and kayaks included. This was most enjoyable and relaxing. Local parks and state forest trails nearby. The cottage is beautifully decorated and has books, games, videos, puzzels. Very, very nice.

Nature in your backyard!

This was our second year here and it felt good to be "home"! This VRBO is very clean and you have everything you need. We enjoyed the bicycles, kayaks, and canoe and watching the birds off the deck. The hosts are friendly and very helpful.

Florida getaway

We had such a a relaxing stay! Patti and Dave were very warm and welcoming and have a cottage that was clean and well equipped to make us feel right at home. We would love to come back again and stay there!

We have lived here for 22 years.
We love hiking, biking and paddling the scenic Withlacoochee River.
We are so very blessed to have all of this beauty at our backdoor and, to be able to share it. It is truly, mother nature at her best.
Dave is a Trail Master on the Florida Trail and provides a tremendous amount of information to our guests wishing to explore the area.

Why they chose this property

The quaint little town of Nobleton hasn't changed much in the past 100 years. It is about a square mile. It is so tiny that we do not have RFD. We have to go to the Post Office to get our mail. Dreamcatcher River Cottage is adjacent to River Oaks Landing, a Local Landmark and, once General Store/Post Office which is now our home.
We make every effort to make Dreamcatcher Cottage your home away from home. It is well maintained.
Cleanliness is #1!
We love the peace and charm of the river and the beauty as the forest changes colors with the seasons.
