This newly remodeled unit is just the relaxing beach home you're looking for. It's perfect for any age- our kids and our friends love it! Right on the beach, with yard space and a pool, too, there are only 3 other condos in our building and another 4 unit building next door, so it stays pretty quiet and private. The sound of the waves pounding is mesmerizing. "Endless Beach" is great for long runs or walks, and there are a ton of fun things to do nearby including zip lining, surfing, sailing, sightseeing, and more. Bedroom 1 has a king bed, Bedroom 2 has two twin beds, and the living area has a double murphy bed, so 6 people can comfortably fit in the condo. The kitchen is stocked with the dishes and pots and pans you'll need if you want to cook at "home" on your vacation, or you can enjoy the delicious restaurants that are close by.
Quiet Neighborhood Setting. Sleeps 6. Near restaurants and groceries.

About Heidi Fore
Hi I'm Heidi.
Heidi Fore purchased this Condo in 2015
Why Heidi Fore chose Potrero
Our little boys loved it. It has a yard for them to play, a beach and a pool. It is quiet. There are only 3 other condos in our building and only 4 units next door. It feels like a relaxing beach house. We can run on the beach a loooong way. That's why it's called Endless Beach!
What makes this Condo unique
There are fun things to do nearby. My boys liked zip lining and looking for monkeys in the trees. Someday we will learn to surf. The boys love looking at the boats nearby. The sound of the waves pounding is mesmerizing. It truly feels like vacation here.

Great location - safe, secure, quiet
Not much to add to what others have already written. Steps away from a great walking beach that also is very safe for swimming and water sports. Condo has just about everything you need (cooking, towels, etc.); furniture is comfortable (not always a given in these types of beachfront rentals). Internet is solid but not spectacular. Pool and grounds are very nice (in comparison to some of the other complexes nearby). Easy walking distance to grocery, restaurants, water sports rentals, etc.
This is a second-floor unit, so it does get quite a bit warmer than the downstairs units - afternoon sun from the southwest is particularly intense with the full-length wall of windows that do not have shades.
The local property management company that supports this condo is first-rate - very responsive to concerns and issues. Of the eight units in the complex, there is only one full-time resident, so it is almost all short-term or part-time residents.
Amazing beachfront condo
This is a stay we’ll have to repeat. Great location on a beach that isn’t busy and is family/kid friendly. Beautiful sunset views, spacious and with a pool. Also with an area for barbequeing. My family will definitely stay here again.
Thanks so much for the five star review! We are so glad you enjoyed the location and amenities, and can't wait to have you back!
Everything was amazing!!!!
We loved staying at the condo, specially cause it was ocean front, and the house was really nice.
We were 6 people staying at the house comfortably and it didn't feel like crowded.
The house was clean and packed with everything that we needed for our stay.
The only thing that we didnt' like was the lack of curtains for the living room, because there is a murphy bed there and the lights from outside and from the sun in the morning are a little uncomfortable, we had to move the lights to sleep better.
But beside that the condo 2-4 was perfect for our family vacation.
Thank you Heide for everything!
Beautiful groundS, beach and friendly community!
Lovely spot for our first visit on our month long exploration of Costa Rico! "Community" of the whole area is what stands out in my mind. Great restaurants as well as local "Soda" spots.
Condo could use some work...
Wonderful stay at Playa Potrero
We had a wonderful stay here. The location and amenities were perfect. And if you are looking for a change of scenery, there are other great beaches nearby such as Playa Conchal and Playa Azucar.
We found plenty of places to eat. Our favorite, by far, was The Shack. We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner there. The Beach House and Marco Polo were close seconds. The Smokin' Pig was pretty good too. The restaurant at Bahia del Sol was awful (and expensive), but it was the only place open on Christmas Day. The MerKdo Supermarket was the best place for groceries, and it's an easy walk. We had plenty of pots, pans, and utensils to cook and sufficient dishes and plates to feed our family of four.
A nearby amenity that really adds value to this location is the Costa Rica Sailing Center. It's an easy walk down the beach. They have a wide variety of sailboats for rent, a pool, and a restaurant. The folks who work there are super friendly and helpful. My son and I took one of their Hobie Cats out into the bay and had a great time. We went back on Christmas Eve for a special dinner. The food was delicious, the music was great, and it was probably our favorite night.
Randall met us at the property when we arrived. He was courteous and friendly. We had a minor plumbing problem while we were there and he responded to our text right away. The WIFI gave out on day 6 and never recovered, which was frustrating, but it didn't affect our stay.
The interior of the condo is not spectacular. I'd call it Beach Cottage Basic. But the layout worked well for our family and the view from the expansive porch is just beautiful. Plus, you can hear the waves crashing from anywhere in the place which is awesome--there's no question you are at the beach!
One word of warning: Google Maps gives you a route that includes route 911, aka, Monkey Trail. This is unpaved, involves two river crossings (no bridge--it's literally through the river), and steep inclines with loose gravel. Our rental car agency "ran out" of 4-wheel drive vehicles despite our reservation, which is apparently a common occurrence during the high season. Luckily our little front-wheel drive car made it, but we were later told had we been a week earlier, we would not have. Moral of the story, if you don't have a capable vehicle, go "the long way" to Potrero through Filadelfia and Huacas. You will save time, headaches, and stress.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and we hope to go there again!
My home away from home
We stayed here August 2016. We had the best time ever and can't wait to get back. The Condo was very spacious, clean, large rooms and kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. Tim and Randall were fabulous..Randall stocked my fridge and pantry with everything I asked for (for a very small fee and very well worth it), Tim answered all my questions promptly and set us up with great tours. The Lazy River company is highly recommended and their sailing and snorkeling tours were a blast. The Little's provided (cost of course ;-) ) with a great golf cart to use for the week. You don't need a car at all, we drove that cart everywhere. The sunrises and sunsets were amazing. I still to this day say I had the best backyard ever! The pool was amazing and the patio with bar and fireplace, perfect. We met some wonderful people there and still to this day talk to them weekly. They all became family to us. I can't wait to take my daughters so they can see how beautiful the culture is there. The beach is gorgeous! I can not say enough great things about this place. It's def a place I want to revisit every year. Heidi's place is perfect, safe and in a great location. Hope all who stay here leave with a full heart! Thank you for a trip I will never forget. PURA VIDA
There are 2 golf courses nearby. We can arrange for a driver to take you there.
