Our thatched house was built in 1872 on a mound. In the late 1970s, the building has been completely gutted and refurnished and is since now in Fig.2. Generation lovingly maintained.
The term 'Gaard' comes from the Frisian and designated a surrounded by Wassegräben homestead; 'Peer' is Low German for horse. This name comes from our house to the fact that here until the late '90s in a loving cattery quite successful horses were bred. Boarding can also make holiday on the home pasture so well.
Our two apartments are upstairs with cozy dormers and a central hallway. You'll also find lots of board games in the event that the weather makes you even have a spanner in the works.
Peergaard is surrounded by mature trees, the idyllic orchard provides ample space for relaxing with many sheltered spots.
For our younger guests, a large sandbox and a swing ready and if you like, skill and balance with various climbing and balance games can prove.
