3 bdrm, (2 Double bedroom, 1 Twin bedroom + 1 Twin airbed, 1 Twin Cot). 2 full bathrooms, washer-dryer, large private screen porch. Large private yard.
Your booking provides 1 towel, per guest (if you like lots of towels, please bring with you).

20 miles to boat basin in Bainbridge, GA, Bass Capital of GA. Our location is on Lake Seminole, N Shores. The large screen porch has ceiling fan for comfort. Enjoy grilling or setting up your fryers in private side yard. Porch offers a perfect setting to relax & plenty of storage area to store coolers, fishing gear, boots or equipment.
Arrive to enjoy comfort, peace & quiet after a long day of fishing, hunting or local day trips around quaint small SW GA towns, FL Beaches, Wineries, Tallahassee museums, Mariana Caverns or Wakulla Springs. Or sit & enjoy catching up on your days events, after enjoying some of our local community restaurants around the Lake, Bainbridge or Donalsonville, GA
Cottage is 5 miles from Seminole State Park where you can rent a kyack or Canoe, take the kids to swim on a beach area, playground, biking or hiking. Great location for Fishing Tournaments.
Bainbridge is 20 miles to Nature Trails, play ground, Restaurants on the Square & Mega Boat Ramps at Boat Basin.

This place is fine if you just need a place to stay when attending a funeral.

We stayed here because he had a funeral to attend. This place is not for children. While getting ready for the funeral my autistic 10 year old pushed the ring camera 2x and my 7 year old come and got me saying a speaker wanted to talk to his parents. I came out to speak to Julie. She had me stand in the rain explaining to me that kids are not to be left alone in the yard and they are not to push the button. That I needed to explain to my son that ( what he thought was a door bell) wasn’t a toy. I said I understood and it wouldn’t happen again. But she continued repeating herself about 4x about my son’s behavior, while I got wet and my hair was just a mess. She then called my husband. He explained how we have one at home. She said that she had kids and she totally understood. That was very hypocritical. The beds are too small for a couple and the showers are slippery. We will not be coming back. THIS PLACE IS NIT FOR A FAMILY WITH KIDS.

Cousins Reunion

We were all very pleased with our stay. Plenty room to spread out and comfy beds. Home was clean and well stocked with necessities for our stay. Host was awesome with communication and recommendations for the area restaurants. Will definitely book again.

Southwest Georgia Country Living

The Swamp Gravy house was my introduction to this part of the country. I had a wonderful stay. Julie is the single best Host I have ever met. Thank you, Julie. The house had everything I needed, including birdseed for the feeder. Every house in this part of the country has a pack of hunting dogs that sound like hyenas, but you get that anywhere down here. The quiet is profound. It is rare if a car goes by. The Porch is large and inviting and an important living area. I spent all my time here. I highly recommend the Swamp Gravy House and you will enjoy the lovely Miss Julie, an unusually sweet Host who sincerely wants you to be happy. This house is highly rated for Hunters and Fishermen. I do neither and loved it!
