Overview

Photos and Description of this Seefeld in Tirol holiday chateau / country house

3 bedrooms, living room + Tyrolean Parlour, large bathroom, terrace, 6 persons.

The Haus Elizabeth is a homey Tyrolean rural cottage with its own garden. The spacious south-east patio invites you to relax and enjoy the sun throughout the whole day. On the first floor there are three traditionally equipped bedrooms (2 with a balcony) which offer enough space and a refreshing holiday for 6 guests. The large bathroom offers a bathtub, a shower, heated floors, a towel heater and a hair dryer. The timber stair leads you down to the ground floor, where three lovely shaped rooms and a small bathroom make you feel at home. The living room offers you a homey area with space for many relaxing evenings either in front of a plasma TV (SAT-TV, DVD Player) or just for enjoying a good book. Next door you will find the traditionally wood boarded Tyrolean parlour where 6-8 people can enjoy a lovely meal which will be prepared in the full-equipped kitchen (ceramic stove, oven, dishwasher, kettle coffee maker, sitting area). Wi-Fi included.

The house was completely renovated in summer 2011 in order to offer our guests a modern standard. However, we were careful to keep the familiar atmosphere of the old building so that our guests feel 'at home in Tyrol'.

Comfortable chalet with fabulous views

  • 5 of 5

We spent a fantastic week at Seefeld in Haus Elisabeth. The weather was perfect, with sunshine every day, resulting in leisurely breakfasts in the garden soaking up the wonderful scenery. The location of the house is ideal- peaceful and quiet with fabulous views, yet only a 5 minute walk to the centre of Seefeld. Annette could not have been more helpful. She arranged to pick us up from the bus stop in Seefeld, and came back to the chalet later to drop us at the supermarket so that we could stock up on some basic provisions. She provided lots of information leaflets in the chalet, and gave us a quick guided tour on our arrival day, pointing out some recommended places to eat. There is lots to do in and around Seefeld, and plenty cafes and restaurants for lunch and evening meals. We would highly recommend a summer holiday in Haus Elisabeth in Seefeld.

Very pleasant chalet

  • 4 of 5

We (family of four) had a two week September holiday at Haus Elisabeth and very much enjoyed our stay there. The house was well presented and combined a good mixture of traditional Tyrolean features and modern convieniences. As commented upon elswhere the house was very clean and in a good location, including being relatively close to the the railway/lifts up to RossHutte and for transit to the airport, being only 25 minutes car journey from Innsbruck. The owners were very hospitable and helpful and take good care of the house. Many thanks for an enjoyable holiday.

Lovely house in the Tirol

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in Haus Elizabeth for a week in July. The house is very prettily furnished as shown in the photos and is spotlessly clean. It has a traditional style combined with modern facilities. The house is only a 10 minute walk into the centre of Seefeld which is a nice Tyrolean resort with shops and restaurants. The owner, who lives next door could not have been more helpful both in the booking and helping us with hiking routes while we were there, not to mention the lovely birthday cake she made.. The weather was a bit mixed but we really enjoyed our holiday. Our last night at the Dorfkrug restaurant in Mosern was superb. Highly recommended. Thank you Annette.

Noel passé à "Haus Elizabeth"

  • 5 of 5

Nous avons tout d'abord reçu un charmant accueil de la propriétaire de la "Haus Elizabeth".

Le chalet est très agréable, bien conçu, très confortable avec une vue bien dégagée, du soleil toute la journée. Je recommande vivement cette location.

We first received a lovely welcome from the owner of the "Haus Elizabeth."

The cottage is very nice, well designed, very comfortable with an unobstructed view and sun all day. I highly recommend this property

Lovely cosy house with helpful owner

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in Haus Elizabeth for a week in August. The house is very prettily furnished as shown in the photos and is spotlessly clean. It has a traditional style combined with modern facilities. The location is great for a short walk into the centre of Seefeld which is a nice Tyrolean resort with several shops and restaurants making it pleasant for an evening stroll. The owner, who lives next door could not have been more helpful both in the booking and preparation for the holiday and also while we were there. Highly recommended.

Great and well equiped house with big garden

  • 5 of 5

Very nice chalet, well equipped, clean and lots of space for up to 6 adults.

Big garden with garden-furniture. Private parking. Short walk to city-centre or cable car.

The owner is very friendly and we had a perfect stay.

Can surely recommend it.

And when visiting Seefeld, the hike from Seefelder Spitze to Nördlingerhütte is

really great, fantastic mountain scenery and great views; the hike can be extended by walking

from Nördlinger hütte to Eppzileralm and then to Giesenbach-railstation where you can take

the train back to Seefeld (7min).

Seefeld in Tirol is an ancient pilgrimage site on abeautiful, sunny high plateau. Surrounded by the clear mountain air, no smog, this is the ideal place for recreation. The altitude of 1 200m has a highly positive impact on the health of our guests. Our Haus Elisabeth is located in a very sunny and quiet area of Seefeld with wonderful views over the surrounding mountains. It was completely renovated in summer 2011 but left in the typical Tyrolean style.

The center is within walking distance in about 10 minutes, several supermarkets, a bakery and many other shops are also nearby. All sports facilities in Seefeld are close. You can walk to the village or go by shuttle (bus stop 5 minutes away).

The capital of Tyrol - Innsbruck - is 25 km away, to Munich it takes you about 1 30h, to Sterzing / South Tyrol / Italy about 45 minutes, to Salzburg there is a distance of about 1 45h. Germany's highest mountain, the Zugspitze, is accessible from Garmisch-Partenkirchen (30 min) or via Ehrwald (1h).

The surroundings of Seefeld offer excellent hikingpaths in summer, you also can go swimming, golfing, horseback riding, playing tennis. Even in winter there is plenty to do: skiing, cross country skiing, ice skating, tobogganing, curling, and much more. Culturally, you will also be never boring in our area: many old castles, museums, exhibitions, theater, festivals, beautiful villages and much Tyrolean cosiness.
