Villa One overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Palm Trees, and the fairways of the Beach Golf Course is a brand new, luxuriously furnished, decorator detailed condominium residence tricked out to maximize your island getaway. Experience the peace, beauty, and relaxation of old Hawaii in a low density, gorgeously landscaped community flowing with flowers, fountains, and friendly aloha energy. Two large master king suites with equal views, equal room size, ensuite private bathrooms (separate tub/shower, double sinks, private loo, sliding doors to lanais, and separated by the large living area.

Villa One offers true Hawaii indoor/outdoor living, year-round sunset and ocean views, and breezy trade winds to enjoy our wonderful climate mid 70s/winter, mid 80s/summer, 6-10 inches of rain/year. Relax on the oversized 600 square foot lanai which opens onto the spacious main room and designer kitchen. A few minutes' stroll to the ocean, or to restaurants and a full service grocery in Queens shops, or to beautiful white sands Anaeho'omalu Beach, Villa One is perfectly situated for elegant resort living.

Beautiful Villa One is completely new construction built inside the framework of The Shores Condominium Villas fronting Golf/Ocean perimeter. The surface waters of the open ocean around Hawaii range from 77 °F (25 °C) between late February and early April, to a maximum of 83 °F (28 °C) in late September or early October. With water temperatures this mild for hundreds of miles around, the air that reaches Hawaii is neither very hot nor very cold. The water temperature is wonderful for swimming year round.

Why Bitsy Cavanaugh chose Waikoloa Village

Since 1989 we have owned property on the Big Island and have been full time residents since 2001. VillaOne was the local residence of the original developer of the Waikoloa Beach Resort. Purchased from his estate, VillaOne was completely rebuilt within the framework of The Shores Condominium. Luxurious upgrades such as travertine stone floors throughout, custom crown moldings, top of the line german-engineered Thermador built in stainless steel appliances, upgraded kohler bathroom fixtures, granite wine bar, which would never be placed in standard condominiums, complement the spacious layout and golf and ocean views of this prime property. And it sits on a small knoll away from the noise of the resort traffic--feeling like a private personal oasis in the midst of a busy amenity filled resort. When we saw Villa One, we both knew it was special, private luxurious home we could be proud of to share with our guests, friends and family.

Gorgeous Big Island Get Away

Look no further! This condo is ideally situated near Waikoloa beach; Kings and Queens' shops; and local brew house. It offers absolute privacy, serene surroundings and luxurious amenities. The kitchen is modern and equipped with high-end appliances. The suite is newly renovated with absolutely everything you will need. It suits two couples because both bedrooms are equally spacious and well appointed. The ensuite bathrooms are also identical with soaker tubs and large walk in showers. The owner (Bitsy) is friendly and very helpful, and you know she wants you to have a good stay.

Cleanest, best equipped and most comfortable accommodation that we have enjoyed anywhere

Cudos to Bitsy and Ric on the cleanliness and comfort of their Villa. Great location for everything, including whiling away time on the lanai and catching the sunset. The Villa is so well equipped all you need is your food and beverage. Bitsy and Ric are great hosts and keep you informed on local activities (really enjoyed Canoe Club Luau). We have been visiting Hawaii (Big Island) for almost 30 years and felt right at home in Villa One. Enjoyed 3 weeks of relaxing downtime and will be back next year. Thanks Bitsy and Ric!

Wow! We were not expecting everything to be so new and luxurious

This was a fabulous getaway for us and our two eight year olds. The condo is perfectly located in the center of waikoloa beach resort and we walked to beach and the macaroni grill and the grocery store

The kids snorkeled for first time. Bitsy arranged for us to paddle with her outrigger canoe club. We also followed her directions for a round the island drive to see the volcano. Fantastic visit. So easy to stay here. Beautiful sheets and comfy mattress. We just had to pick up some food.

My husband and friends stayed for a week. It was perfect for two couples.

What a beautiful place to visit, relax and enjoy time. From the moment we opened the door we were amazed by the condo.The condo is absolutely beautiful, convenient, immaculate and VERY WELL equipped with everything.We could not have asked for more. Bitsy & Ric has always been gracious and available. By the way, Ric!! you are a wonderful canoe instructor!!!! We feel fortunate to have experienced Villa One. We would love to stay in this condo again in a heartbeat and we enthusiastically endorse it for your family as well. Mahalo!!

1. VRBO's new policy does not provide owners with guests phone or email contact information. We can only "chat" on their webpage online or at Bitsy Cavanaugh, owner

2. Well behaved children are welcome! Also responsible guests over 21 can book with us.

3. We are happy to negotiate last minute bookings and flexible on what constitutes a "month."

4. For stays of more than two weeks, there will be an additional $150.00 fee for a required mid-stay cleaning. We have found our long terms guests really enjoy this service.

5. Please no parties, weddings, family reunions, etc. Private residential use only in this peaceful private setting.

6. To maintain quality of condominium and its furnishings, accommodations are limited to four guests.

7. House rules and rental contract are simple and understandable.

8. $500 deposit is non-refundable unless we can re-rent the apt during your stay. Cancelled bookings paid in full within the sixty days prior to arrival-- will be refunded 100% if apartment can be re-rented. If we cannot re-rent apartment, we will credit you the amount which you paid toward a future stay. If guests does not wish to take a credit, renter will receive the housekeeping and deposit fees refunded. (We are stuck reporting the rent and taxes to the state.)

9. If you are new to the Big Island, Bitsy and Ric enjoy providing concierge service to make your experience the best.
