Private Self Contained Ocean View - Suite #1

New construction 2015 with private ocean view decks, WiFi HD TV. King sized beds. Self contained suite with mini kitchen total square footage of each suite is about 400 sq'. We are very close to Baker Beach and the Hiking trail at Francis Point Provincial Park. Both of these destinations offer great Ocean views and beach combing. Just to be clear, if you book through VRBO you are booking Suite #1 from this listing but if you want to book suite #2 (also shown in photos) -- CHECK AVAILABILITY ON OUR SECOND SUITE PLEASE CHECK VRBO LISTING NUMBER 701924.

A few changes we want our guests to be aware of for our 2021 season and beyond, for our returning guests we ask you please read the details below so you aware of our new policies.

We are NO LONGER serving or including breakfast options with your stay.
At arrival your hosts will greet you outside to discuss any details or questions you may have regarding your suite or things to do in the area.
Check out is still at 11am but we do need to start our turn over promptly after this check out time to prepare for our next guests.

Please note our suites are NOT really set up for a lot of cooking like frying foods but we do offer an outside BBQ however.

A Wonderful Location and a Comfortable Stay

I highly recommend this location if you are planning a trip to the Sunshine Coast. It was an hour drive from the Langdale Ferry Terminal but once you are there, every place you might want to visit is a 30-40 minute drive from Madiera Park. The suite was very comfortable with a nice deck to relax on with a fantastic ocean view. Bed was very comfortable. Please be aware there is no full kitchenette for use in the suite. There is a small fridge, coffee grinder, coffee maker, and a larger toaster oven. While we did not require a microwave oven, someone else may have expected that. There are multiple places for you to eat out and the grocery store is only a 7 minute drive. Wayne and Kathy were fantastic hosts - they were always available to answer questions and give advice. When we checked in we were given a lovely fruit plate. Kathy also treated us to homemade baking throughout our stay. There is a wonderful little beach only a 5-minute walk from the property. The water was calm and warm during the time we stayed there (July 17-21). There were also blackberry bushes that were ripening that you could pick from. We would defijitely stay there again on our next trip to the Sunshine Coast!

Spacious and comfortable. Close access to a semi’ secluded beach. We travelled on motorcycles and the host generously offer the use of his spacious garage to protect the bikes from possible rain and gave us good info on scenic roads.

Retired to the Sunshine Coast in 2006 and decided to construct a new addition on our home in 2015 so we could work together out of our home with our B&B. We love to stay busy with our B&B and close to our home to enjoy all that life on the Coast can bring. We are recently excited about developing our all inclusive get aways focused around amazing meals prepared out of our wood fired oven.

Why they chose this property

We think we have a very special place. We have great ocean views from our home and both of the self contained suites. Beautiful Baker Beach is only a short .5 kilometer walk down a quiet street and trail. Located on Francis Pen just a short 5 minute drive to Madeira Park and the highway you feel you are in a very well kept rural area. We find our neighbourhood to be very quiet.We are also close to some amazing hiking trails at the Francis Pen Marine Park just a 2 minute drive away.
