THE SPACE
You won’t want to stay inside! Experience a hike on our private 183 acre nature preserve nestled on the side of a mountain, exploring three streams, golden meadows and serene private forest. Go trout fly-fishing in nearby Roscoe, NY, the “trout fishing capital of the world.” Or hike around nearby Crystal Lake, or in many nearby forest preserves and state forests. Take a farm and cheese-making tour across the road. Visit and attend world class concerts at Bethel Woods Center for the Performing Arts, just a few minutes away. This award-winning farm cottage has been fully renovated and restored to its original country grace, and it is waiting for your arrival. Our farm is green energy, with solar power and geothermal heat/hot water.

Simply fabulous

My husband and I had the most wonderful weekend at Dr. Norris’ place. It’s a beautiful cabin maintained impeccably. There are fun board games and an amazing collection of books. The property around is gorgeous and ideal for hiking. I highly recommend it!

Peaceful Cozy Cabin Stay

Despite the sub zero temperatures, my family of four thoroughly enjoyed this warm, cozy, eclectic cabin in a stunning location of Sullivan County. The owner is a communicative and accommodating host, even providing some snacks and beverages upon arrival. The description and pictures are accurate. The beds are comfortable, including the sofa bed and the floors are warm. The caretaker came twice to shovel and put down salt, which was greatly appreciated. The airplay surround sound was an added bonus for our evenings of playing Cribbage, Yahtzee, and cards. We look forward to coming back when it’s warmer to explore and hike this beautiful property.

Great place, great host!

A perfect place for my friend and I ... 2 master bedroom suites, each uniquely decorated in fun and thoughtful ways with lots of attention to details, down to tile choices, lighting, and even book selections to match the themes. The whole place was spotless, everything worked exactly as expected. The property is vast, beautiful, and available to all guests, an especially wonderful feature during a pandemic! Dr. Norris is the ultimate host. He was very responsive to all of my (many) questions during the reservation process and throughout the time leading up to our stay. I never had to wait even an hour to hear back from him, always with a thoughtful and thorough response. During our stay we were warmly greeted, granted total privacy, and yet he was always completely accessible should we need anything. We were even treated to freshly made, warm blueberry muffins! It doesn't get much better than that :). Not only would I stay here again, but I fully expect that I will ... and I'm already looking forward to it!

Callicoon guesthouse 1 + 2

It was a very quaint bunk house. It was small and cute. But there was a lot to do. It’s right on the side of a hill with a beautiful view. House was filled with decorations that really made the house feel like a comforting and welcoming home. I would definitely recommend this vrbo for any group that wants a nice getaway weekend in New York
