Short term stays. 4 nights Max stay.

Located on the Southern end of island near Sandy Beach, 8km from the ferry.

Peaceful, relaxing getaway. A short walk to Sandy Beach.
Full use of upstairs. X2 bedrooms with queen size beds. Linen, tea, coffee included.
Transport; unless you bring car on the barge we have taxi mini buses.
Beach is walking distance.
Tennis rackets supplied if you want a hit on our island courts. Northern end of island.
Wide concrete driveway.
CCTV security

Eateries; R.S.L, Bowls club both offer courtesy bus. Several cafes, kebab,pizza and fish n chip take, pizza, kebab take away. New Mediterranean restaurant.
Inter island Ferries are free.
Shopping; IGA, bakery, chemist, hairdresser, post office, Saturday markets. All located near the ferry.

Check in from 10am-6pm ( if you are checking in after 6pm please advise host) Check out by 9.30am on day of departure.

An excellent place to rest up

We are builders, building on Russell Island. To make our job successful we needed a place to rest up at the end of a hard day. The property was excellent to do just that. Kitchen, bathroom, dining and lounge all of excellent quality. Beds were soft and comfortable. Host was awesome. Great value.

Loverly island getaway nestled amongst the most picturesque garden setting a very relaxing place to stay and Lynda the hostess is a really nice lady making you feel very welcome I’m looking forward to going back again to soak up the nature and wildlife at this wonderful house. Relaxing bird-filled retreat

Lovely relaxing atmosphere. The property is at the southern end of the island, a 10 minute drive from the ferry, water glimpses from the balcony, trees, birds and a short walk to the nearby beach.

I reside in a fully self contained, private unit under the guest house were I write children's novels when Im not gardening, going for long walks or visiting my family on the mainland.

I have lived on the islands for 16yrs. I chose to live on Russell Island , Sandy Beach for the peace and quiet. Island life is my sanctuary and place of peace and tranquillity.
