About this property

Situated within The Old Village, this first floor studio apartment has delightful views over the gardens. It can be found just 25 minutes by car from Faro Airport and a 15 minutes walk to the marina at Vilamoura. Built in the style of 18th century Portuguese architecture, the Old Village is well known for its style and beautiful landscaped sub tropical gardens and is completely pedestrianised. The village has its own bars, cafes, restaurants, supermarket, children's play area and three swimming pools, and is surrounded by ample terracing with sun loungers. There is an onsite tours and transfers office. The Old Village is very family orientated and therefore loud noise and bad language is not tolerated. It is not suitable for groups of people wanting to party late into the night. There is 24 hour security who monitor unruly behaviour.

Perfect

Dealing with Debbie is a pleasure. All enquiries are deslt with immediately. The property is ideally situated, fabulous views from both roof terrace and balcony. Well equipped. Bathroom super modern. As a solo travellers the Old Village feels very safe, security on site 24 hrs. Third time I've stayed at this property this year and back again in October. Planning to visit again and again

Great stay

Great stay. Fab location. Some things that would be handy - hooks for coats and hats etc. a mirror on the desk to use as a dressing table. A new iron. The current one leaks water all over. Overall had a great time and would return :)

Beautiful

Lovely property, great balcony to watch the swifts in the morning. Apartment has everything you need. The old village is beautiful, with easy access to three pools. Communication with the property host was excellent, inculding arrangement of our travel to and from the airport. Would book again without any hesitation.

Why they chose this property

I first visited The Old Village about 22 years ago, quite by accident. I fell in love with the quaint architecture and the beautiful gardens and returned for a couple of years before purchasing the apartment for its lovely view of the gardens and the added value of a balcony and roof terrace. I never tire of visiting and feeling totally relaxed.
