Traditional Spanish villa in tranquil settings with large private gardens and large heart shaped pool with two large sun deck . Many terraces overlooking orange groves and mountains with panoramic views. 10 minute drive from the blue flag beach of Gandia, with shops, restaurants and bars, 10 minutes drive from Barx, 3 minutes drive from Marchuquera village with lovely Spanish restaurants & bars all run by locals , food is delicious & very cheap. Has lovely little Church with a very friendly congregation . Mass then a beer in the cafe next door always goes down well with visitors .Mass 11.15 Sunday mornings. Car essential, parking within villa property for 5 cars. Property completely walled so very secure. Recently all new kitchen , bathrooms in 2020 all new windows , doors & screens all outdoor furniture which inc dinning table & chairs ( sits 14 persons) .large L shaped sofas & sun loungers , 2 fatboy bean bags , two hanging basket chairs,pergola with sofas & tables. New beds & bedroom furniture . All new kitchen ware ( completely stocked with food processor, blender, smoothie maker , three toasty sandwich makers . Toasters , dulce gusto coffee machine . Coffee percolators . New in 2017 one additional downstairs double bedroom with patio doors directly on to patio with n suite & A/C. ( suitable for elderly with mobility issues as Ramps were installed to access & exit areas everywhere downstairs ( disabled toilet seat also available on request .The A/C is in All the bedrooms & the upstairs office, the bedrooms also have in addition to A/C for anyone who doesnt like A/ C , separate ceiling fans. Great for cycling & hill walking. The restaurant on the square in Bars does the best Pizza ever, I would highly recommend it. There are lots of games, DVD,s & books for your use. There is a hair dryer but bring your own beach towels. Towels not to be removed from villa . Cool box & pic-nick basket in kitchen for use at the beach. Two Fridge freezers & separate bottle fridge .

Casi genial!!

Ha sido una experiencia agradable. La casa está genial, pero hay dos cosas que fallan. Baño en la planta baja (solo hay uno escondido y pequeño) y las avispas de la piscina. El resto genial. TV enorme, la piscina es más grande de lo que parece, cocina muy equipada (nos hemos dejado un cuchillo de cortar jamón :(). La recomiendo, aunque ojalá sin avispas. Picotazos 5/10 personas Hablan los huéspedes inglés. Saludos!!

Wonderful stay

The house and its surroundings were very nice. The road next to the Vila has traffic and it’s quite noisy even at night, but weren’t bothered too badly. We were a full house (14 people) and the house was definitely created for big groups except when it comes to the sleeping situation. The house has two bedrooms with air conditioning and the rest of the bedrooms has fans. People couldn’t sleep from the August heat in the bedrooms with just a fan. Otherwise we had a wonderful time and we would definitely come back (especially with more air conditioning)! The communication with owner and key holder was good.

Perfect house for group of friends and kids

The house is well equipped: kitchen is big with 2 fridges, a good oven, a good dishwasher and many other small appliances Vast living room although we spent most of our time outside Wifi was efficient enough All rooms have ceiling fans. Swimming pool was key in the heat we enjoyed it a lot!! A few things to keep in mind: only 2 bedrooms have AC the other don’t and there are no real shades/blinds in most of them making it tricky to keep them not too hot. Many wasps outside - be equipped in case they sting you. The house’s location is perfect: amazing beaches nearby, very easy to get to Valencia or Xativa (which we recommend!). The region is really gorgeous.

Cuidado con las avispas y los cargos sorpresa

La casa en general está bien aunque echamos de menos que hubiera jabón de manos en alguno de los baños para poder asearnos mínimamente al llegar. También nos hubiera gustado que hubiese algún ventilador extra para las habitaciones pequeñas porque los que durmieron ahí pasaron demasiado calor. Quitando eso la casa está en muy buenas condiciones. Una cosa que si nos gustaría puntualizar es que la piscina tiene literalmente cientos de avispas. Es una información que creo que deberían poner en el anuncio ya que de haber sido alguno alérgico habríamos tenido problemas porque todos nos llevamos algún picotazo. Al preguntar sobre alguna opción a la persona que nos entregó las llaves nos dijo que eso es lo que había y que no tenían alternativas. Por último, a pesar de que el equipo de limpieza se sorprendió de lo limpia que dejamos la casa cuando ellos llegaron, la dueña intento cobrarnos un extra por dejar "basura por ahí tirada" que luego resultó que eran las bolsas de basura que estaban en los cubos después de recoger. Esos cargos por supuesto no figuraban en ninguna parte del anuncio. Nos sorprendió negativamente esto último porque hasta el momento las conversaciones con ella habían sido totalmente cordiales.

Hi, Im 55 year old,married & living in Dubai. I used to have my own marketing business which I sold and bought properties. I go to Spain & Tenerife at the beginning of each season to do a complete clean from top to bottom, I prefer to do this myself as no one tends to clean as well as I do. I am a complete clean freak. I make a list of things to be repaired or replaced, this is done at the beginning of a season. I would not rent to anyone less than I would expect myself. I have very high standards & my properties reflect this. I have never had one single complaint & I have people returning year on year (this speaks for its self. I love both places for different reasons.I love the tranquility however like the fact if you want shopping & night clubs you can also do just 15 min away.

Why they chose this property

I had looked all over Spain & decided on this area because it was well located for many amenities. Benidorm, Terra Mittica, water parks, Valencia,which I would recommend you do by train from Xraco or Gandia. The beaches are the nicest you will find in Spain, the mountains are just breathtaking, I would recommend you take a walk up the mountain at the back of the house as on a clear day you can see the sea. This is the real Spain not just tourist. The neighbours behind the villa are Nicky & Hose. They are good friends of ours. They also hold a key to the villa. Nicky is English, Hose Spanish thus you will have no language barriers. You have the tranquillity of the Mountains with the wonderful fresh air & smells from the orange groves all around. The villa is completely secluded but not isolated as you have about 30 villas in the urbanisation, but all sit in about 1 acres of ground thus you have no one looking in. However if you want the Spanish experience you go to the villages in orange groves 5 min away or a bit more in land to Rotova which is 10 mins drive through the mountains, where on route you will find a lovely monistry. If you want a more tourist feel the take yourself in to Gandia where you will find a lovely street cafe culture & Gandia beach is 10 minutes away, this is where you will find the night life & Casinos.

What makes this property unique

I love being at the Villa as I like to dine alfresco. The views from the front terrace are breathtaking. This villa has the best spot on the Urbanisation. I love to ponder in the garden & of course all I do is clean inside & outside. I am happy for 2 weeks of complete tranquillity I enjoy going cycling in to the orange groves which also has its own little Chapel. The 3 restaurants in the orange groves are all very good & great value for money. If you want Paella you must order the day before. The people are very friendly & don't speak much English. I think this adds to the Spanish experience. If you go to the Beach 10 min away by car you will find English speaking Spanish. I love this beach as very safe, very clean with plenty parking. You will find everything you want in Gandia at Carrefour.
