Villas Pinara and Xanthos are 2 new villas built in a traditional Turkish style with stone cladding under a slate roof. The villas are set on the far side of the Kas Peninsular within 7 minutes drive of the centre of the beautiful town of Kas. The villas are cleaned twice a week and there is a gardener and pool attendant who visits twice a day...............................................................
My name is Costa Sanson and I live near Tunbridge Wells in the UK with my wife Rose, our 2 children Alexandra and Christopher and our 3 cats. I am half Greek but have spent more time in Turkey than Greece so it must be good there! Rose and I love the area around Kas and it always gives us a great sense of achievement if we can help guests with their holiday.
Costa Sanson purchased this villa in 2004
We purchased land on the Kas Peninsular in 2004, built both Villas Xanthos and Pinara and started renting in 2006. On the one hand we loved peaceful tranquility of the peninsular with it's spectacular views but then on the other hand Kas, with it lively bars and restaurants is only 7 minutes drive away. So, you have the best of both worlds! Also, the bus service into town is so simple and cheap that it's not necessary to hire a car if you prefer not to drive. There are so many wonderful things to do both sporty & cultural: diving, sailing, snorkeling, swimming, paragliding, white water rafting, jeep safaris & a new Marina will encourage even more water sports. There is an abundance of Roman and Lycian ruins, beautiful flowers to be seen, especially off season in April and May
The villas are very close to Kas so shopping there is easy as there are several supermarkets. There is also a superb Friday Market in Kas which is brilliant for vegetable, meat, fruit etc. The villas both have spectacular westerly views so apart from sun all day, you are guaranteed to see a wonderful sunset every night. We also have beautiful gardens with many exotic flowers and plants.
'Absolutely fantastic holiday. We will be back!' - Mike and Val Morgan from Australia.
'Thanks again for the stay in villa Xanthos - it was just lovely. So well located - airy, spacious, well designed and furnished...and that infinity pool !' - Darrell from the UK.
'We arrived this morning from Turkey and I just wanted to tell you how much we loved Villa Pinara and how much we enjoyed the week spent in your wonderful house and in amazing Kas. The vacation was perfect also due to the perfect organization, starting from you and Rose, Susie, Ramazan and the maid.' - Maria Paola from Italy.
A beautifully constructed villa on the Kas peninsula . The views across the bay to the mountains are spectacular. The infinity pool takes full advantage of this view. The patio areas offer a choice of dining in the sun or shade. The garden is well tended and there is a large BBQ. The villa itself is very generously proportioned and well equipped .
Kas itself is delightful with an interesting array of shops, bars and restaurants . There is a great deal to see and do , both on land and by sea. I would highly recommend this villa and area.
We arrived late after dinner in Kas. Woke up the next morning to the most breath taking views from our bedroom and balcony.
The villa was beautiful, spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was also a BBQ by the pool. The owner had taken particular care to provide everything we needed to make our holiday perfect!
The local village Kas had lots of great restaurants and interesting little shops and the people were very friendly. We spent our 46th wedding anniversary having dinner over looking the pretty harbour in Kas.
We hired a car and visited the most incredible Roman ruins at Xanthos and on another day drove into the mountains, passing goat herders and stopping at view points looking out across the Mediterranean.
Would definitely recommend this Villa with its wonderful location.
I think this is my fifth visit to the beautiful Vila Pinara, which is testament in it's self of my love for this place! The excellent customer service prior to the trip by the owner who ensured all details were covered was once again most impressive. I have travelled to the Villa with both family and this time with two of my female friends and I have to say felt totally safe in both the villa and Kas the whole stay. The villa was spotlessly clean, and as always very well maintained, and everything we could have needed was ready and waiting! Even fresh bread, fruit juice, eggs, butter etc. was in the fridge as a we arrived.
We have over the years managed to explore Kas and it's restaurants and this year our favourites fast became the Secret Garden (or could be Hidden Garden) and Cinarcar, both in the centre of Kas. The Secret Garden was very authentic cooking and the owner even offered to cook for us one lunchtime and brought it to our villa, two course meal for three for £30.00, excellent value and a great treat!
We have been on a boat trip in previous years and a trip to a Greek Island both well worth a try.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending anyone to visit Villa Pinara and have actually done so on frequent occasions, I love this place, a little taste of heaven!
We had a wonderful holiday in Villa Pinara. The accommodation was excellent and spacious with spectacular views just as shown in the photographs. Costa, the owner, was very helpful before and during our stay, Fresh bread was delivered daily which was a great start to the day. The area was very interesting and we visited many historic sites. The town/village of Kas is very friendly and full of really good restaurants and bars. Before you leave Turkey, go and have a Turkish massage at the Marina - you will feel revitalised and refreshed, I hope you enjoy your holiday as much as we did, We hope to go back soon.
This was our second year at the beautiful Villa Pinara and I hope the second of many. We had the most wonderful family holiday in this stunning villa which is every bit as good as the photos on the website show. It is spacious, very clean and well maintained inside and out and Costa, the owner has thought of everything to make the stay as comfortable as possible and will answer any of your questions, arrange car hire and airport transfers before you go if you wish. The villa, its position on the peninsula with breathtaking views from every angle is outstanding.the infinity pool is sparkling clean. From having my cup of tea on the balcony in the morning watching boats sailing past, to the beautiful sunsets, it is perfect. Kas itself is lovely with its winding streets full of colourful shops, bars and restaurants, leading down to the harbour. The lovely locals work hard to sell you their goods but never making the experience anything but memorable. We took a boat trip both years and it is a highlight. You go out all day and if you are lucky, as we were, swim with turtles while the crew make delicious meals, barbecuing on the side of the boat. You are spoilt for choice with places to eat and drink and there is a lot to do out and about but we always looked forward to getting back to our villa. Ramazan who looks after the pool and garden will bring you lovely fresh bread each morning and water if you request it and is so friendly and helpful. All in all perfect. Can we book again next year Costa? From the Phillips party.
From the booking of the villa, to enjoying the actual holiday, could not be easier. The villa was booked by way of an email, where upon, the owner, Costa, takes control of the whole process. Costa has thought of everything, which takes the pressure off you, somewhat. On booking the villa, the customer will receive an email 'package', with a comprehensive information pack regarding the villa and Kas it's self. Everything was considered, which took a great deal of pressure off us, which helped to simplify and ease the whole booking process. I can't stress enough how helpful Costa was, and how much he did to make sure everything was in place, which took the pressure from us.
Having viewed the villa on the internet, the time seemed to pass so slowly, prior to the holiday, however, when we finally arrived, (my word) we were not disappointed. The villa commands a stunning location at the far end of the peninsular of Kas, with breath-taking and unobstructed views of the sea and the coast line.
The villa is a large and spacious detached building, with beautiful elevated views of the surrounding area. The living area consists of a open plan area of the living room and the dining area. Nice pastel colours have been utilised, together with local arts and design, which makes for a very relaxing environment. The views from the living room area are stunning, which makes this area so special to be in. The kitchen which leads of the living area is very well equipped, and more than adequate.
The three bedrooms are equally nicely furbished and provide beautiful views of the sea and coastline by way of a shared balcony that runs the whole width of the house. Each room has its own air conditioning unit, keeping the rooms cool at night time.
The pool area is simply stunning, with the views already described. This is amplified with the infinity pool. There is an outside shower to rinse prior to using the pool, together with a purpose built barbeque and outside sitting area. (in shade).
The whole of the outside area is very private and very relaxing, and it is very hard to put into words how nice it is.
To conclude, the villa and location are both stunning. The photos on the internet do it justice, and you do get a flavour of how special Villa Pinara is, but you will not beat actually going there. For us, it was simply the best holiday we have ever had...........taking relaxation to a new level!
