Villa in Corralejo, Fuerteventura. Outstanding Peaceful Location in Exclusive Area

Villa Bella Vista is our family home, situated in a spacious garden directly by the sea, with two small sandy bays immediately in front and another lovely sheltered sandy bay about 100 metres away, which is ideal for children. There are also magnificent coral white sand beaches starting about 5 minutes walk away. These stretch for several kilometres through the Dunes Nature Reserve. The villa provides spacious modern and luxurious accommodation in a wonderful setting, where the only sounds are those of the waves on the shore and the sea birds. The conservatory and adjoining ground floor terrace are excellent venues for relaxed dining, whilst the two roof terraces have even more spectacular panoramic sea views. Restaurants, shops and the varied attractions of Corralejo are within walking distance.

The property right by the sea is unique - one of the best locations in Fuerteventura - it's quiet but not far to the shopping center and restaurants

It's a short walk to the famous white beaches of Corralejo and the dunes

Flagbeach is near by - surfing-and kite surfing school

Lovely views out to sea - from the house, garden and the large roof terraces.

The kids love to play on the beach in front of the villa - all safe and friendly.

Notes on accommodation: All windows and sliding doors are fitted with mosquito nets. The Trade Winds and proximity to the sea (20m) mean that air-conditioning is not necessary. Temperatures in the house are usually in the 20 to 25C range, winter or summer. Fans are provided for the occasional humid days and convection heaters for the odd evenings in winter when it is cooler (about 18C). A satellite television and DVD player is provided, together with a CD/radio system and a variety of books. Outside: There are two separate roof sun terraces that are reached by short stairways at the side of the house. The front one provides incredible views out to sea and to the islands of Lobos and Lanzarote. There are also views to Corralejo harbour, where the ferries from Lanzarote arrive, and lovely inland views across the Dune Nature Reserve to the distant mountains. The second roof terrace, to the rear of the house, is sheltered and is ideal for private sun bathing. There are also terraces at ground level around the house that provide a variety of locations for quiet relaxation and dining. Chairs, tables and sun loungers are provided for outside use. NOTE that, because there are three lovely bays for swimming in very close proximity to the villa, a swimming pool is not provided. The property is therefore very safe for young children. Utility Room: Off the living room is a small laundry room, with washing machine, ironing board and iron. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen and bathroom towels (not beach towels) are available. A cot and high chair are also available. Other: Leading off from the living room is a conservatory. This room stretches the width of the sea facing terrace and has wonderful views. The interior of the house is essentially on one level.

Fabulous property but on the edge of town

A very spacious, beautiful and well equipped villa but nowhere near the advertised location. Can't fault the property for cleanliness and comfort but whilst the location is lovely it's about as far from town as you can get.

Owner's Response: Our guests , many with young children, come to us mainly to be by the sea and in close walking distance (5 minutes - as advertised) to those marvelous white sandy beaches Corralejo is famous for. Surfers and kite-surfers like to be close to Flag-Beach or on high tide take to the sea in front of the house. Our guests also value the quiet location by the sea, a well apointed detached home of over 200qm, a large garden and lovely views out to sea. A pleasent walk into the centre of town/harbour via the Palmtree-lined Promenade is no hardship or taking a taxi (Euro 5,-) leaving the rented car at the Villa is not a bad option. No worry about a second glass of wine. The sun, the sea, a lovely home, nice surroundings, good meals to share with the family make a great vacation. The advertised DETAILED DESCRIPTION states that the magnificent white sand beaches start in about 5 minutes walk from the Villa. These stretch for several kilometers through the Dunes Nature Reserve. Entspannungsurlaub direkt am Meer

Die Lage des Hauses ist TOP. Sehr gut zum entspannen.

Es war alles sehr sauber und ordentlich (natürlich schleppt man immer Sand mit rein).Sehr viel Platz im Haus. Da unsere Rückflüge sich um 7 Stunden verschoben hatten haben wir kurzfristig einen Late-Checkout bekommen das war sehr nett.

Strände/ Dünen/ Stadt alles in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen.

3 wunderschöne Wochen im Paradies !!!

Die Lage des Hauses hat uns überwätligt. Der prachtvolle Blick aus dem Haus, Garten und der Dachterasse (auf Corralejo, Lanzarote, Strände) war so schön, dass man das Gefühl hatte, man will dort einfach stehen bzw. sitzen bleiben und schauen, schauen, schauen. Die Nahlage an den Hafen in Corralejo, den weiten, weißen Sandstrand und die berümmten Dünen machten das Haus, somit den Urlaub, noch interessanter. Die Inselmitte ist ebenfalls Besichtigung wert. Das Haus ist ruhig gelegen, sehr gut gebaut und bietet jeglichen Komfort den man täglich braucht. Die Ausstattung ist modern, geschmackvoll und sehrgepflegt. Die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr durchdacht verteilt. Dorothy, die Hauseigentümerin, ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hauspersonal sehr nett. Gerne wieder!!!

Car: recommended


Fuerteventura has the best beaches in the Canaries. The sand is white, due to the coral component. The sea is crystal clear, so swimming, snorkeling and diving are great. Beaches near Corralejo are safe for swimming in normal conditions and the principal ones have lifeguards. Excellent windsurfing is possible on the more exposed beaches. A magnificent kilometres long beach begins a few minutes walk away. Two small sandy bays are in front of the house and a very safe sheltered bay is 100m away.


The villa is located about 30 minutes drive from the airport. Car hire can be arranged there or locally ( at the airport or with two offices in Corralejo - we can recommend!!

An Avis office is minutes away). A taxi service at reasonable cost is available from the airport. Local travel is also available cheaply by taxi.

There are bus services to various towns and villages. Ferry services and excursions to Lanzarote and its volcanoes can be booked in Corralejo. So too can deep sea fishing and day trip boats.


The centre of Corralejo is about 20 minutes walk along the beach path and a little less by the road. There are some shops, a supermarket and restaurants about 10 minutes walk away. A car is desirable, but is not essential, especially if you intend to spend most of your time at the beach. Rather, make use of the local taxis, which are plentiful and very reasonably priced.
