Property type barn
Minimum Stay 3 - 7 nights

About the property

Sleeps 6 in 3 en-suite double bedrooms

Dairy Barn is a luxury 5* Gold Award 3 bedroom barn conversion in an idyllic rural location on a working farm well known for its conservation and Highland cattle, yet it is only a short drive away from the popular beaches of Ventnor, Shanklin and Sandown and the many other attractions the Island has to offer. Dairy Barn offers exceptional comfort with three en-suite bedrooms, a large well equipped kitchen with Aga, separate dining room and spacious sunny lounge with wood-burner fire and SKY TV. There are miles of footpaths and bridleways across the farm or within a few hundred yards to explore the local countryside on foot, by bike or on horseback. There are four quality Lodden stables, a spacious tack room and a small paddock which can be rented at rates to be negotiated separately.

This is a fantastic place to stay. We felt right at home and being visited by the Manager and the owner, they were both very personable and gave us tips on where to visit. We were provided with tea, coffee and milk and what was a bonus was the homemade scones and jam.The property itself felt like it was brand new, because of the freshness, paint and decor. It had that old world charm that you would expect from a farmhouse, but nothing was tired and dated. It was roomy, beds were so comfortable and we had everything you could ask for. We would love to stay there again. I thought it was real value for money. Hearing the cows moo in the morning made you feel glad to see a new day in this fantastic property. We sat every morning and every evening in the courtyard. My only criticism was that there were no sun loungers as sitting on the wooden bench for a while was a bit uncomfortable. I would reccommend this property to all .

Fabulous. From the friendly & personal welcome to the soft furnishings, The Dairy Barn is lovely, even better than the photographs.

It was just perfect for aChristmas get together ! It was spacious and luxurious.

  • 5 of 5

It’s a beautifullly furnished and clean residence and they went further by decorrating it.for Christmas and providing a decorated tree too which was so kind as we had all traveled from different parts of the Uk and Japan .Help and Support was at hand very promptly.

Created some lovely memories and we can’t thank you enough . We would love to come back in the Summer.

Spacious, comfortable and equipped to a high standard

  • 5 of 5

We had a thoroughly relaxing stay at the Dairy Barn. Slept really well in the comfortable beds and tranquility of the country lane. The children particularly loved the garden. Sally is a very welcoming and helpful manager. It was our first visit to the Isle of Wight - plenty of opportunities for fresh air - walking, cycling and beaches. We will definitely be back again in future.

The Wight Stuff

  • 5 of 5

The accommodation at Dairy Barn exceeded all our expectations. Clean, well maintained, great customer service from Sally and we would not hesitate to recommend it anyone. A wonderful quiet spot with many attractive walks within easy reach. We were blessed by great weather but I feel sure that we would have enjoyed a wet week just as much in such a beautiful spot. We will be back!!
