|Minimum Stay||3 nights|
Los Patios is a traditional Canarian house built around a central courtyard. A further flower-bedded courtyard has a large solar heated pool, secluded sunbathing terraces, BBQ and shaded dining area. All this just 10 mins. drive from the razz-a-matazz of Puerto del Carmen and its beaches, or the luxury of the marina at Puerto Calero

" Just a short note to say what a wonderful holiday we had..........We will be
aiming to return next March for at least 3 and a half weeks."
Garrington, april 2012
Where do I start, this must be one of the best villas we have stayed in, ever thing was just so wright for my family from the warm welcome from David to the over all place. I really don't want to do a review as so many more people will find this place and make it harder for me to rebook. the villa is just so right for a big family. over all the property was very clean and well maintained the location is just perfect with so much space in and out of the villa we really miss the place and cant wait to go back next year thank you so much Tony and Willow
What can we say without making this too popular and finding it impossible to book again ?
Los Patios is everything we expected and more. If you want the hustle and bustle of major resorts this is NOT the place for you. Ideally located for visiting all the attractions of the island yet secluded and peaceful.
We found the accomodation charming and more than adequate for our needs. The courtyard and pools areas are so different and will suit everyone from groups of friends to large families wanting a great holiday away from it all.
The Wi-Fi and television package are excellent and work well.
We would like to thank Dave for the warm welcome and assistance throughout our stay.
Gra and Julia :-)
We have just returned from a lovely holiday, staying at Los Patios,in Conil,Lanzarote. We had a great time, the house is a traditional Canarian house and is full of old world charm. The location is tranquil and peaceful, ideal to de-stress those of us caught up in such a frantic society!
The manager,Dave, was so helpful and attentive, and nothing was too much trouble for him,he made us feel very welcome and at home and we
would just like to say a big thanks to him.
Really I just felt compelled to write a review to balance out the negativity of the unhappy holidaymaker who left the bad review.
John and I have stayed here numerous times over the years, in the middle of winter and the middle of summer. The shade of the beautiful pergola in the sun is heavenly and the cosiness of the log-burning fire in the winter divine.
We have always found everything spotlessly clean and the pool extremely clean and regularly maintained by "our old mate, Dave". The old finca is so full of charm and quirks we hardly want to go out as it's such a beautiful, charming environment. Every day is a treat, evening meals around the lovely old table by the pool are delightful.
We used to go to different resorts and villas every year but now there is no question - we will always stay at Los Patios. In fact, I am missing it, just writing this review!
Really, if you are thinking of booking Los Patios, just do it, you certainly won't regret it and you'll just wish you had discovered it earlier. You probably (like us) won't ever want to go anywhere else again, ever!
Los Patios is truly an unexpected and magical place. We were surprised at how peaceful and relaxing it was although only a few miles from the teeming hordes in the more popular areas.
The house itself is very traditional yet well appointed and with a lovely pool and barbecue area. The rooms are quaint and quirky but comfortable and clean and well cared for. Dave the manager was very helpful but never intrusive and left us to ourselves.
We ate at lots of restaurants and tapas bars near beaches and they were all very good and reasonably priced. The market at Playa Blanca on a Saturday is worth a visit but makes you grateful to return to the tranquility of the house!
We had a great time as a couple but it would be equally good for families and friends. We will be back.
This is our fourth stay in Lanzarote but this time we wanted to be away from it all with a bit of privacy. Los Patio is a real find! The village is small but you can get what you need in the supermarket or you can go to Tias a few minutes away by car which has lots of shops.
The house is really traditional with lots of wood & beautiful old windows. The pool area is great & we spent most of each day out there. From morning till night you can follow the sun on the different seating if you don't want shade!
Dave was very helpful initially & told us to call on him if we needed to but then left us to ourselves which was perfect. ( in other villas we have always had people popping in & out!)
If you're looking for a secret getaway with character & charm then book this house. We will return hopefully later in the year with our whole family.
Special interest holidays:
Highly recommended are the Cesar Manrique designed sites of special interest: Fire Mountain, Jameos del Agua, Cactus Garden, Manrique's house etc. Sports activities include golf, hang gliding, horse riding, deep sea fishing, deep sea diving and Canarian wrestling (as a spectator!).
10 mins drive to the beaches of Puerto del Carmen, which are numerous and vary from little rocky coves to huge expanses of white sand. The black beaches of El Golfo and the west coast are at approx 25 mins while Papagayo (considered the best on the island) is approx. a 35 min drive.
Arrecife airport is 10 mins away by car. While not absolutely essential a car is recommended.
Los Patios and La Bodega are in the village of Conil. 5 min walk takes you to the supermarket or the tapas bars. Tias is 5 mins by car and has many restaurants shops banks and a petrol station. The wine growing area of La Geria is a 10 min drive from Conil where there are several bodegas where the local produce may be sampled. Also 10 min drive is the exclusive international marina of Puerto Calero where the fabulous selection of yachts may be viewed while enjoying a meal or a drink.
