Appartement op geweldige locatie
Prachtig gelegen appartement aan strand en aan rand van centrum van Santa Maria. Het grote balkon kijkt uit op zwembad en strand. Appartement beter geschikt voor 4 personen; de slaapbank in de woonkamer is doorgezakt. Uitrusting vd keuken was te beperkt (glazen, borden etc.) en er waren bij aankomst geen strandlakens, kregen we maar 1 set sleutels en werkte de safe niet. Communicatie hierover met vertegenwoordiger van eigenaar was moeizaam (terwijl daarvoor communicatie met eigenaar naar volle tevredenheid was) maar eea werd uiteindelijk opgelost (door onaangekondigd appartement te betreden wat wij niet fijn vonden). Was niet duidelijk waar wasruimte was. Appartement wordt luxueuzer voorgesteld dan het in werkelijkheid is, maar lokatie is geweldig en om deze reden zou ik het appartement weer huren.

Top location, lovely balcony and swimming pool but some elements could be upgraded
We enjoyed our stay at the flat and found the location to be great for convenience and quiet, close to bars, restaurants and supermarkets but untroubled by any noise. Balcony was spacious with good quality sun beds and plenty of sunshine. The development's swimming pool is very clean and and we always managed to get sunbeds. The security is good. For two of us there was enough space in the apartment. Michael was fantastic to deal with and he got onto the local management quickly to sort out niggles. Overall I'd say the apartment is good but could do with some updating and attention to detail to compete with others in this price range. The bed in the apartment was comfortable (but the pillows very poor). Kitchen equipment is pretty worn with just basics for 2-3 people, poor condition pans and an absence of things like salad bowl or serving dishes, functioning tin opener: we bought wine glasses. We were self-catering and had to be inventive to cope with the absence of microwave or oven. Sheets quality was OK but towels and pillowcases were poor. The flat wasn't very clean when we arrived: the fridge was particularly unpleasant, and the floor was grubby but this was rectified the next morning and two further cleans were organized during our stay. The process for replacing sheets and towels was a bit hit and miss and we had to follow up to get a full set. A broken toaster was replaced after a three days but the air conditioning never functioned. As other reviewers have commented, there isn't any Wifi and we had to sort this out for ourselves buying a local sim card (which wasn't difficult or expensive).

Schön gelegenes Appartement mit großem Verbesserungspotential
Das Appartement hat einen phantastischen Blick zum Meer und liegt direkt an einem sehr schönen Strand, der aber zum Baden nur bedingt geeignet ist (große Steine im Wasser). Die Abholung vom Flughafen erfolgte erst nach Anruf bei der verwaltenden Agentur und nicht wie vereinbart nach Ankunft des Fluges. Die freundliche Mitarbeiterin der Agentur war sehr bemüht, alle Nachfragen zu beantworten bzw. zu erledigen. So z.B. die Instandsetzung des TV Gerätes, das erst noch programmiert werden musste. Dies geschah dann durch einen Fachmann gegen Ende unseres Aufenthaltes. Internet gibt es im Appartement nicht. Wir konnten das WiFi der Agentur nutzen (d.h. auf der Straße stehend vor der Agentur). Der Gasherd funktionierte tadellos, jedoch waren die Pfannen mit beschädigter Beschichtung nicht zu gebrauchen. Insgesamt wirkte die Einrichtung sehr ungepflegt. Im einzigen Wohnzimmerschrank befanden sich neben zerfledderten Büchern und Zeitschriften diverse Glühbirnen, zwei defekte Toaster und ein defekter Wasserkocher. Ein dritter Toaster war nicht benutzbar (elektrische Kurzschlussreaktion). Insgesamt wirkte die Einrichtung abgenutzt, renovierungsbedürftig und nicht Eigentümer betreut. Der Mietpreis erscheint uns daher nicht angemessen.

Schöne Appartementanlage
Die Anlage, in der das Appartement liegt, ist ruhig, gepflegt und hat eine tolle Lage, mit einem fantastischen Blick auf's Meer. Der Strand vor der Türe ist nicht so schön und weniger zum Baden geeignet. Aber es gibt fußläufig einen unendlich langen, wunderschönen Sandstrand, der zu endlosen Strandspaziergängen und zum Schwimmen einlädt. Der Ort selbst ist sehr touristisch, kleine Geschäfte, Restaurants und Bars sind direkt vor der Türe. Das Appartement selbst verfügt NICHT über einen Internetanschluss/ WiFi, auch der Fernseher (falls dieser benötigt wird) funktionierte nicht. Es gab insgesamt drei Toaster, alle drei defekt. Töpfe und Pfanne waren vorhanden, für eine Selbstversorgung aufgrund des Zustands aber unbrauchbar. Folgende Dinge, die in der Anzeige genannt sind, waren ebenfalls nicht vorhanden: Safe, Strandtücher, Sonnenleigenmatten, sowie die Möglichkeit, auf der Terrasse zu grillen. Wir bewohnten das Appartement für fünf Tage. In dieser Zeit wurde es weder gereinigt, noch gab es frische Handtücher. Der Transfer vom und zum Flughafen funktionierte nicht, obwohl er zugesagt war. Ja, Michael der Vermieter antwortete immer ziemlich direkt auf unsere Mails. Organisiert hat er aber nichts, das mussten wir dann selber machen.
