Anandhouse - 2 aircon bedroom beach house in Ambalangoda, near Galle - On A Secluded Beach 10 Minute Walk From The Cit

The house is on a west oriented secluded beach though not so far from the city. Rental of the house includes: An everyday maid service for breakfast, cleaning, laundry, cooking if you want. We can organize transfer from airport or elsewhere. The manager and owner will help you in any question or any needs and will do his best for perfect vacations. You can call him anytime. He can arrange any excursions around, but also for beer and local transportation. A perfect guy. Local phone calls. Free wireless internet service. Hot water shower.

The house

The construction is brand new with antiques windows and doors.

A lot of concrete shelves in the bathroom, the kitchen, and the main room are at your disposal.

There is a telephone for your local calls and you can buy a card for international ones. Wireless internet broadband is included.

The kitchen is fully equiped with fridge, microwave oven, everything for cooking, but our staff can cook for you (extra charge)

A canope bed in the main room (140 cm wide), 2 canope beds in the small one (120 cm and 90 cm wide)


The beach is just in front of the house. Only few fishermen in the morning, local kids at times, most of the time you will be the only ones in the sea, enjoying a virtually private beach.

The sea could be very nice and calm or pretty rough depending on the season.

Winter time is best for swimming, summer time is at your own risk.

About Bruno et Nicole

We are a french couple who fell in love with Sri-Lanka.

We have built this house in 2007 and it has been completely renovated in 2013.

We are marketing now Anandhouse for its Srilankan owner.

We own 2 other villas in Ambalangoda and we are marketing 3 other ones to offer a large variety to fit every budget and perfect vacation.

We try to offer for rent the kind of place we would like to find.

Why Bruno et Nicole chose Southern Province

Because it's not far from the city but it is a secluded beach. Ideally located and perfect for sunset. The beach is perfect there and you can go slowly in the ocean. It's behind a little grocery store very convenient and owned by the manager's family.

What makes this house unique

The house is on a secluded beach but not far from the city. Perfect for sunset. You have all the benefit you can get in a hotel but it's a private house. Tropical breakfasts are included. There is a free wireless internet connection. The staff is for your own comfort.
