About elisa sertorio

the house, dating back to the XVI century, is completely restored with care and love for the past. A job lasted five years, meeting all kinds of difficulties... the opportunity to publish the pictures you just saw, is a source of pride and great satisfaction for my husband and our two children but especially for me, I confess. The project was so exciting to inducing me - executive in a big company - to radically change my working life. A good result I think, but what an effort! I worked hard to get it, but now the dream of my life is reality. I love so much this place, (I got married here, in the family castle that you see on left ), than I have shifted a bit of my passion into the home walls . Hope you feel what I mean if you stay here some days!

elisa sertorio purchased this villa in 1800

Why elisa sertorio chose Savona area

The house belongs to my family for over one hundred years. The best point of our property is just its fantastic nature around us and to the" tableau vivant" that the sea view offers every day. It's really unique.

The house, just 5,5 km from the coast, takes away the heat and the crowds of summer months and gives the feeling of having the sea in the countryside.

What makes this villa unique

You 'll find here comfort, charming simplicity, peace and quiet. This enchanting place allows you to be physically active and mentally relaxed. You can game golf at Garlenda Club, play tennis at Hanbury Tennis Club Alassio, swim, trek...

The recent restoration of the house has been a real love job, centered (also) on the reuse of materials: stone- discovered under the old plaster - original terracotta paving, chestnut wood for the ceilings. All that, combined with the attention to detail, sets an unforgettable charming mood. Never fails the peaceful at the house whenever you like. So near to downtown and so far from Summer mess.

Beautiful staying

  • 5 of 5

I had a wonderful holiday in the house of Elisa in Alassio. The house is cosy and arranged with great taste. I can say I really felt at home. Also my children enjoyed the house and could feel free in exploring the huge garden. Elisa and her husband were welcoming and discrete. I would recommend the staying anytime. We went there in the winter and could appreciate the fireplace yet I can immagine it is also fantastic in the summer with the beautiful spa.

Amazing

  • 5 of 5

Grazie Mille! We had an amazing two week holiday at Casa Rosa. The photos do not do it justice, the views are stunning and the villa is just wonderful. Elisa and Ricardo are great hosts, very helpful and friendly but never obtrusive. They even booked us a table at a local restaurant on our first night. We would definitely recommend this property. Alassio is beautiful but be warned it does get extremely busy in August and it can be very difficult to find a space on the very well kept beaches if you haven't pre-booked. Take a drive along the coast to Monaco for the day, not too far and well worth a day out to see how the other half live!

Most recommendable

  • 5 of 5

One very relaxing week in the house of owners Elisa and Riccardo left us very happy and satisfied. As experienced renters of holiday villas – often at a multiple price compared to the one that Elisa and Riccardo charge for a week at their villa – we were happily surprised by their above standard villa. In fact, it is one of the most beautiful and most complete villas that we have ever rented. The house itself is very solidly and tastefully restored and decorated, the garden and the whole mountain area are very silent and most beautiful, an abundantly luxurious swimming pool, fifteen minutes away from the always empty parking garage at the sea shore/town center, and the owners are always well spirited and friendly accessible for questions, tips and a quick start of a happy holiday. No 'forgotten' (but most relevant) data in the prior information, on the contrary: a five-star hotel level accommodation and similar support by the owners.

Splendid

  • 5 of 5

What you see on the site is absolutely conform to reality and more...

The house has incredible charm.. and has been renovated with impeccable taste. It is perched in the mountains like an eagle nest and offers an unobstructed view of the sea down below.Superb gardens , bougainvillaea and lemon trees...Enchanting and intimate. The perfect place for a special event. We even rented the second property close by, casa gialla, to be sure to have the guests all together. Elisa, the owner, is a formidable presence, kind, energetic, generous and super -organized ; a modern-day fairy...We are already planning to go back there...

Excellent

  • 5 of 5

My family stayed at the beautiful house and thoroughly enjoyed our stay the accommodation has been beautifully restored to a very high standard

we loved the pool with the surround sound and the super stone barbecue The pool is not big but great to cool off and look out at the view. The owners are very welcoming and have the top floor above the accommodation . I thought Alassio was a very pretty town and so unspoilt . The pasta and sea food are very good but not inexpensive for a family of 7!

Happy wedding accommodation

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for the week before and during our daughter's wedding day in Alassio. Elisa's villas were the ideal setting for this occasion and the wedding party from UK including the bridesmaids all stayed here. The facilities were wonderful and very comfortable. The views are amazing and the pool areas great for BBQs and get togethers. I would highly recommend them to anyone. It truly was a home away from home and made the day even more special for us all.

Coast/Beach:

5.5 km far from nearest beach. Over 100 bathing establishments, to choose along the coast. It is enough to consider its geographical position, the expansion of its beach, the possibility to swim from march to November, the shallow depth, the gentleness of its climate through the whole year. Alassio must be regarded as one of the best beaches in the world. The strand with its very fine grey-white dustless sand stretches over 4 km to join the seaside of wonderful Laigueglia.

Further Details:

The tourist history of Alassio is closely connected to its climate. Very thorough studies have compared the climate of the picturesque bay of Alassio to that of another pearl of Italian tourism, Amalfi. In fact both the coast and hilly belt are exposed to the South, a crown of mountains protects it from the northerly winds: that is why Alassio enjoys the typical Mediterranean maritime climate which is pleasant and mild, with annual range of about 15 degrees, average winter temperature of about 10 degrees and summers refreshed by marine breezes with temperatures around 25 degrees. It is above all due to its favourable climate that Alassio, towards the end of the 18th century, became among the first Italian towns to receive tourism from Europe. As time went by, the first wealthy English families who started this trend were replaced by a crowd of tourists coming from all over the world, as the latest statistics on the tourist flux show. The biggest shopping center of Liguria is the “Budello” of Alassio, the ancient alley stretching across the whole town, parallel to the sea front.Along both sides are the best shops of the Western Riviera with their latest ideas and fashions: from the most modern “griffe”, to the most precious antiques and traditional tastes. You'll find here. 24 Restaurants, 10 Supermakets, 10 Banks and more and more.
