Luxury 3 bedroom villa with large open plan living space, private swimming pool and landscaped garden. Overlooking village and the bay, it provides the perfect holiday. Short walking distance to local grocery store, beach bars and restaurants. There are 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, private parking, air-conditioning and a fully fitted kitchen.
We stayed at Bayview Villa with friends in September. It is a fantastic villa and very well appointed. Sadly for us the weather was poor in the afternoons and evenings so we were unable to use the great barbecue and pool! Lillian was extremely helpful and helped us settle in very easily. One point to note is that there are a lot of steps up to the villa so be prepared! We loved our stay here and would recommend it.
We were greeted by Lillian on arrival who helped us settle in after showing us round the villa. The property was beautifully clean and very well equipped. The garden was a small paradise which we shared with a very busy squirrel! Unfortunately, we didn't get to use the pool much as we were out and about but it was clean, of a good size and ideal for lounging around. It was a treat to come down to the barbecue having been cleaned in the morning and for the garden to be swept each day. Would definitely recommend the villa and Morinj is less than 10 minutes walk if you want to stroll down to the small beach or bar.
The villa was great - very clean and well-equipped with everything that you could possibly need during your stay. Our teenage daughters really appreciated the Wi-Fi and our son absolutely loved the pool (although it was a bit too cold for me!)
The gardens and pool area are beautiful - the perfect place to relax and unwind.
We spent a lovely few hours on a trip to the Blue Cave and swimming in the sea and were lucky enough to see dolphins in the bay on the way back. We also took the ferry over to the other side of the bay and drove along the coast to Kotor - there are some very picturesque villages along the way where you can stop off for lunch, a stroll and a swim. Kotor Old Town was lovely but very crowded with folk from the cruise ships that had docked. On another day we drove up to the mausoleum in the mountains - it is definitely worth the climb up all of the steps as the views are spectacular.
This villa was perfect: beautiful and set in a quiet location but close to lots of interesting places. I would definitely recommend it to friends and relatives.
We couldn't have asked for more from this villa. When we arrived it was immaculate, with a lovely welcome package of coffee, biscuits & wine. There were fresh clean towels in abundance, and beautifully made up beds. The kitchen was so well stocked, with everything you could possibly need, and down at the barbeque area too. That included items such as olive oil, cling film, salt & pepper - all the little things that you normally end up having to buy but hardly use. The pool was incredible, and we used it everyday. Lillian was super helpful, from the moment she met us to the day we left. We rang her for trip recommendations & to arrange the mid-stay house clean. the village is 10 minutes walk away, with 3 nice restaurants, a shop and a post office. The beach is also 10 minutes walk with a great bar. Slightly further around the bay, about 15 minutes walk is another beach with pedalinas to hire. I really can't fault this villa, and would recommend it to anyone. We had a hire car & had a couple of great trips out. We visited Kotor, and Cetinje, and also made a day trip to Bosnia to go white water rafting.
This is a beautiful villa set in really magnificent grounds. It is 5 minutes walk from tiny Morinj which nevertheless has a good little shop, a few restaurants, a pizzeria and beach bars from which you can swim. Supermarkets are 5/10 mins drive. It is very well sited for visiting all the local towns like beautiful Perast, Kotor and Budva. The pool is lovely and large (although a little cold even in July). The villa was well resourced and very clean. Unfortunately when we were there the trees hadn't been trimmed and so we had no view of the spectacular bay (hence 4 stars) but I believe they will be cut back in a few months so this won't be a problem. There was wifi, a washing machine, tumble dryer etc. I would really recommend Bayview unless you have mobility issues - there are a lot of steps to the house from the car.
One of the nicest villas we've stayed in. Spacious and with everything you need for a self catering holiday. Walking distance to small shop and a couple of restaurants and a short drive to many lovely towns and attractions.
The villa was clean and well maintained. We used the outdoor barbecue and it was cleaned for us each morning before we were up! The pool was gorgeous - it's not heated but even at the end of May it was quite pleasant on a hot day.
Really great to have a local contact for any help required.
A delightful Villa to stay at. It have everything we needed. Lillian and Mladan are only too happy to look after anything you need. When we visited in October the pool was too cold to use really at 16 degrees, so a big shame it wasn't heated, but everything else was just as we'd hoped. I advise travelling to Perast and Kotor, and have a drink in Tarrantana over looking the bay, and treat yourself in the local Ćatovića Mlini restaurant.
Local beach, located within 10 mins walking distance, offers small pebbles, gradual sloping and cafe (June through September) open throughout the day. Safe for small children.
Bayview Villa is easily accessible from international airports at Tivat (20 minute drive) and Dubrovnik (about an hour and a half drive). BA, Croatian Air are best choices to Dubrovnik along with some budget flights while JAT can be used to fly to Tivat although less frequently. Rent a car is advisable and we can arrange that. Please contact us for price sheet.
Distances and driving times: Kotor 24km (30 min), Herceg-Novi 25km (35 min), Tivat 15km (20 min) by ferry, Budva 40km (1hr), Dubrovnik 75km (1.5 hours).
Morinj is an old coastal fishing village situated in the heart of magnificent Boka fjord. It is a place that can offer something to everyone, from couples to families, its beaches, kayaking, diving, fishing, sports, mountain climbing.
Known for rich aristocratic families, famous merchants and captains, Morinj founded first school in native language back in 1904, which until this day offers four grades of elementary schooling. It is located next to the local marina right by the main road.
The main beach is just steps away from main road, where a beach club is located, open from 8am - 2am providing tourists with refreshments all day long.
Morinj offers the best seafood restaurant in the whole bay, nationally recognized Catovica Mlini, providing exceptional cuisine to elite clientele. This is a must stop for anyone who likes seafood.
For simpler fare, there is another option for traditional grilled items located just on the main magistrala by the post office.
Food and basic items can be purchased in one of two mini marts located on main magistrala.
For people wanting to experience beautiful nature, there are several options.
Situated in base of a forest and vegetation covered mountains, trails and small roads leading up to mountain can provide unforgettable images of the fjord and towns in the distance.
Morinj is also well known for Little Venecia – a large network of small springs and channels with two old mills taking you back in time. One mill still works to this day while the other one is converted to Catovica Mlini Restaurant.
