About this property

Near Pescara, an annexed 18th century palazzo in historic Atri

4 bedroom house overlooking the Monastery of Santa Chiara and situated in the centre of Atri. The property has been recently converted from three separate 18th century houses to form a spacious three storey house, 180square metres in total and refurbished in a classical Italian style.

Atri was originally founded in the 4th century BC and is one of the best hill villages in Abruzzo. From the pretty historical centre there are magnificent views over the mountains and out to the Adriatic Sea.

The house is 8miles (13km) away from the nearest beach in Pineto and 19miles (30km) away from Pescara harbour. There are numerous beaches both serviced and unserviced as well as bars and restaurants on the coast line between Pineto and Pescara. The vibrant area has something day and night for families, couples or groups of friends.

Great little town
We stayed here for a month. Plenty of space for 7 people. Nicely renovated with soaking tub. Good sized kitchen with oven and stove. Laundry downstairs and cute little town to walk around with grocery store close as well as a park for kids to play.

Very enjoyable visit to Atri
Elisa was great, she made us feel welcomed and helped to make our trip a memorable experience. The little village was charming, relaxing, and the people in the village could not have nicer. I would definitely recommend a week in this quaint hilltop village.
