A brand new house set in a heavenly mature garden with orange trees lemons and all the fruits in the garden of Eden. Swimming pool and small paddling pool, a guest house in the garden and a staff house also in the garden, very discreet service with extreme attention to detail throughout. The house has master suite on first floor, bedroom terrace, bathroom shower and a separate bath and a dressing room. On the ground floor 1 double with shower, 1 double with bath 1 twin with a big shower room and a small double room off it the bathroom is in the middle. In the garden a pavilion with 2 double rooms and shower rooms en-suite.
This is a house built for me by my husband for my 50 birthday. We have 5 children from 30-17 and they adore coming to this haven of peace, excellent, European/ with a bit of Moroccan food, clothes picked off the floor and clean back in the room in 5 hours and no requests to empty the dishwasher, the extent of hard work is opening a bottle, or putting on suncream. Sky TV iPod docks in all the rooms, music by pool, top terrace, dining terrace, salon terrace, pool, smaller paddling pool, 1000 roses, 20 olive trees and the garden is about 1.5 acres. Rabia the house keeper you will want to take home in your suitcase when you leave. We have two resident tortoises Charly and Simon, they had babies last year. I wish you every happiness if you do venture into our bit Heaven.
Camilla purchased this villa in 2008
The feeling of having arrived in a very exotic place only 3 hours from the UK, on the same time zone is a huge plus point, to the extent a long weekend is very do-able. We are only 20 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from the centre of Marrakech, so after the hustle and bustle arriving back at Dar Moulouya, is a joy. The locals are all very friendly helpful and do their best to accommodate what ever ones requests are. Practically anything can be organised within an hour of thinking of it, so not too much forward planning is required, arrive and then decide. They speak English, French and Arabic, sign language works pretty well. The house has been decorated with European comfort and Moroccan style, everything has been made for the house including most of the fabrics Enjoy my Dream.
The house being so close to Marrakech has huge advantages, also being south of Marrakech you are on the way to the mountains, we have the whole range of the snow covered Atlas in front of the house. The girls in the house really do look after you very well in all respects, the only thing they do not do do is open wine or serve drinks, they don't mind it around at all it is just the religious aspect, flowers, candles, water, music, everything that touches the senses are there for the enjoying, If you play golf there are a huge selection to choose from with in 15 minutes of the house. If you play bridge it is a heavenly winter Jan/Feb escape and a bit of shopping is always fun. It is the destination for the family/group who have a bit of imagination and are up for a change. Why Not?
Time flies doesn't it and after 12 months of planning our holiday it is now over.
Rabia was amazing planning New Years Eve. We had a Belly Dancer and some musicians. Party canons and a cake with 2014 candles on it. It was all jolly nice, thank you for your part in it.
Your house is wonderful and just as you describe.
Your staff are delightful, they looked after us so well. Our holiday will be a truly memorable one.
We have taken some super pics of your house and garden, the weather was great and we swam everyday.
We wanted to let you know what a lovely man Rachid the driver is. He has taken us all over the place, organising trips to Essauria and camel rides through the Atlas Mountains. He came shopping with us and always got us the best price for gifts etc
He was reliable, trustworthy, informative and very very kind. He is a great asset to you and made our holiday a wonderful experience.
Many many thanks for allowing us to share your home and your treasur
Breathtaking house, large and luxurious yet cosy and family friendly. My two young children had a fab time playing in the large secure garden (when I could drag them out of the pool) and us adults enjoyed being perfectly looked after by Rabia. A week of sun, massages and delicious food in a beautiful house - my perfect holiday!
I spent 10 days here in November and absolutely loved it. The house is extremely comfortable and feels very luxurious but at the same time is cosy. It was cool in the evening so the log fires and hot water bottles were very welcome. The pool is perfect for small children, as is the large enclosed garden- there are stunning roses everywhere and the trees are groaning under the weight of lemons and limes; there are also a few tortoises lurking in the flower beds but you need to keep your eyes peeled to find them!
I particularly enjoyed the view of the Atlas Mountains from the roof terrace, a perfect spot for an evening drink. The food was invariably delicious, we enjoyed lots of Moroccan dishes but Rabia is also fantastic at catering for small children (we especially enjoyed the home-made ice lollies by the pool). The staff could not have been more kind or helpful and are extremely unobtrusive so you really feel you are in a home from home.
The house is 13km from the centre of Marrakech so you can enjoy the sights and shopping in the souk within about twenty minutes and then easily escape the hustle and bustle and get back to the peace and quiet of the house.
I honestly can't recommend the house highly enough, it is rare to be so well looked after and I really felt I had had a proper holiday. We will be back very soon!
Essaouira is 2.5 hours away in the car and it is about 120.uros to go there and back.
Menara airport is 20 minutes away and you can fly direct to Marrakech with Easyjet Ryanair Royal Air Maroc/Atlas blue from Manchester, Bristol, Edinburgh, Gatwick, Heathrow, Luton.

Marrakech is 13km away which takes approx 20 minutes
The Carrefour supermarket is 10 minutes away, and banks are all over Marrakech with ATM everywhere. Local taxis in town are about 2-3 euros a journey, to rent a car and driver for 8 people is about 50 euros for half a day and local taxi to the house is about 20 euros from town, water-chutes, quad biking, trekking and horse riding are all very near the house.A visit to the Atlas mountains is a must and takes between an hour and hour and half; it is very beautiful and remote.
