10 day stay in Edinburgh

The apartment is located in beautiful Dean Village, a short walk from Edinburgh town centre. Close to Murrayfield Stadium for the Harry Styles and Bruce Springsteen concerts we went to. Susan was great to deal with … prompt replies to our requests. Would stay there again and recommend Susan’s apartment in Dean Village.

Lovely place

A really attractive and well equipped apartment. Everything was made easy in communication. Being in an old mill beside Leith Water in Dean Village you are basically staying in a tourist attraction. Only drawback is no close shop/mart for basic essentials.

Beautiful apartment in lovely Dean Village.

Here with my two adult children for my bucket list trip to Scotland. Perfect setting for our first three nights. Dean Village is so peaceful and picturesque, plus short river walkway to pubs and shops in Stockbridge.

Perfect location

We really enjoyed our stay in Susan’s flat. It was the perfect central location, we could easily walk to everything, yet the flat itself was in a quieter part of town away from the hustle and bustle. It was a very serene location right on the river and we loved the garden. The beds were some of the most comfortable we have slept on, really soft sheets. Susan even left a basket of goodies for us, and had converters for the outlets if needed. She was very responsive and helped me out of a pickle that I got myself into with the booking. We would not hesitate to stay here again if we are ever lucky enough to visit Scotland again in the future.

Susan and Allan: we live in the Scottish Borders but wanted to have a home in Edinburgh. We have family who reside in Edinburgh that we visit frequently. The apartment is ideally placed to get the most from a holiday in Edinburgh. We hope that guests will find the comfortable accommodation as much of a pleasure to stay in as we do.

Why they chose this property

We had been searching for three years for an apartment in the heart of Edinburgh that would be ideal for us to use and to holiday let. The apartment has been fully refurbished.The property is superbly located in the Dean area of Edinburgh, which runs alongside the Water of Leith and lies just a few minutes walk from the retail and commercial heart of Edinburgh. The apartment enjoys all the benefits city living has to offer with restaurants, bistros and shops located in nearby vicinity. There is no need for a car as main bus routes are close by that cover most parts of the town and surrounding areas. Neighbouring Stockbridge, just a ten minute walk beside the water of Leith, also provides further local shopping and a Waitrose supermarket.

Dean village is a tranquil green oasis only five minutes from Princes Street. Dean is located in a conservation area which forms part of Edinburgh World Heritage Sites The apartment is part of an historic mill conversion.
