About this property

This large villa is situated on an elevated position with unrivalled views of North Africa and Gibraltar. Covered terrace area containing large outdoor dining table and a Pool Table. Private heated pool & BBQ, set in 3/4 acre of garden. It has its own cool Pool Bar with 8 high stools. The house is very well equipped with all the usual mod cons just like a home from home. Situated in a old traditional fishing village with several Restaurants, Bars, Cafes, Chemist, Mini Supermarket, Hairdressers, Beauty Salon, Taxi Rank, 3 Polo fields. At least 10 golf courses close by (57 golf courses on Costa del Sol) including the famous 'Valderama' Golf Course which is 1-2 miles from the Villa. Villa has caretakers who can do extra Cleaning, Cooking, Babysitting and Driving at nominal rates. Client pays caretakers direct. They have their own accommodation on basement level completely separate to main house. They have no access to pool or main garden area. The caretakers have part time work locally.

Great Family Holiday

The Villa has everything you would require and more, the pictures dont do it justice. It is situated in a lovely village with both excellent bars and restuarants within walking distance although hill back up could be hard for some we found it no problem. Great family holiday would deffinetely try to go back!

Fabulous time

Lovely villa. Huge outdoor area around the pool with bar, dining, cooking and chill out area where we spent most of our time. Hilary and the caretakers who live downstairs were all very welcoming and friendly . We walked up and down the hill to the village every day although it might be a bit steep for some. Thoroughly recommend this villa

Fantastic villa

We visited the villa as a family of four along with my parents. This was our first visit to a villa and we were not disappointed. The villa is clean, very roomy and very well equipped. The outdoor space is amazing my children did not want to come home spending many hours of fun in the pool and on the pool table at night. We never managed to do everything we planned as there are so many places to visit. We ate at pura tapa one night and the food was amazing. Hilary was really helpful with emails offering advice on rental cars and restaurants in the surrounding area, we didn't eat out as much as we expected as the villa was so well equipped to make it easy to eat in. The pool has a nice shaded area which was great for my mum who enjoyed this area. The pool area has a fridge & freezer, great for storing drinks & ice creams to have around the pool. The walk to the shops & restaurants is steep, only me & my husband attempted this, however the pay off for this are the views and the privacy, the pool area is not over looked and is very secure. The villa is well looked after and loved, we will definitely be back.

Great place for a relaxing holiday

Could use a bit of investment and sprucing up, but spacious, comfortable, and location is great! Amazing views and great place for a relaxing holiday. Pool and pool area are fantastic!

Fantastic villa and views

After a few problems at the start which were immediately put right and did not affect us too much, our stay was very enjoyable. The owner responds very quickly to any emails and Andrea the caretaker who lives downstairs was always available if needed and very helpful but did not intrude. The pool area is amazing and not overlooked at all and the pool was always warm enough to spend long periods of time in it. The villa is extremely spacious with a very large sitting room. There is a terrace the length of the villa where you can sit and enjoy views of Gibraltar and Africa. The villa stays very cool and we only needed to use the air conditioning at night intermittently. The kitchen had ample crockery and utensils for us though I try not to cook too much when I’m away. There is lots of fridge and freezer space (2 fridge freezers) one being an American can style fridge that dispenses water and ice. Two more fridges by the pool also. It is a short walk into town (the walk back is uphill but good for burning the calories off from the meal just eaten). There were virtually no mosquitoes which is a first for us and a big plus. There are numerous tables outside that you can use and move to wherever it is you want to sit. There is also a pool table on the terrace. While we were there swallows had just fledged the nest above the pool table but kept returning during the day and at night to sleep, which was wonderful to watch. We went dolphin watching in Tarifa (saw many) and visited Sotogrande and Gibraltar. Also a market in Estepona on Wednesday then visited Casares - a lovely old Spanish town nearby. A very relaxing stay in a wonderful villa and we would love to return as there is more exploring we’d like to do in the area.

We are an Irish Couple with 3 grown up children living in England. We have been coming to this beautiful area for over 35 years. The closeness to the Sea and the Magnificent Views from our Villa are some of the reason we enjoy the area so much.
This is a beautifully furnished villa. A home away from home with all the little luxuries you would have at home, 50 inch plasma tv, American fridge freezer with filtered water and ice machine, TV's in all the bedrooms, Dishwasher, DVD, Music Stereo, Juicer, Coffee machine, Pool Table etc, etc.
We are sure anyone staying here will feel as relaxed and at home as we do.
