Very happy with the peace in the area after busy tourist areas during the day and all the facilities such as well stocked kitchen and great pool area

Freedom of country side
Very attractive Trulli as the photos suggested. We all received bruised foreheads as we moved from room to room, but this was part of the adventure
Owner supplied ample material before arriving which was most helpful.
The couple managing the property were most obliging
We particularly enjoyed the walks along the surrounding lanes. The property also gave good access to many charming villages. Car is esential
Fantastic property in lovely surroundings. Our stay would have been rated 5/5 however there were some issues that left us disappointed. Firstly, it is advertised as having a wood fired oven. As a keen cook I was really disappointed to be told on arrival that the oven was not used. It was actually boarded up and could not be accessed. Secondly, the wifi connection was not working for 5 days and despite re-booting only restarted after the power tripped and was reset. Thirdly, and most concerning was an issue with water supply. As described, the supply is from recycled rain water & topped up by tanker when necessary. Our taps ran dry in the afternoon and we were without water until the following morning. Having to flush the toilet with water carried from the swimming pool is not good! Our son had to leave for his flight the following day without being able to wash. Correct these issues and the property is well worth visiting.
We had a nice stay. The location is very quite and far apart from the noise. Due to the local traffic, it takes min. 15 minutes to get to the nearby cities and min. 30 min to the next beaches. The communication with the host was great, all the questions were answered within short time.

About the host

I am a freelance filmmaker with a passion for southern Italy. This area of Puglia was my first experience of Italy back in the late 70s. I've travelled all around the country but have ended up back where it all started!
Why they chose this property
It has a lot of character and is in a very peaceful location... the complete opposite of my life in London.
What makes this property unique
Easy access to local towns, markets and great restaurants. Don't expect to loose any weight! Martin & Sharon manage the trullo for me. They'll meet you at the property, show you around and answer any questions. They have a great feel for making guests welcome, supported but not intrusive.
